If you've got Binge, may I suggest watching The Couple Next Door instead!?! Not boring, lead guy is HOT
this may be controversial but I think Asher just plays herself in every role she plays - they are ALWAYS ALL the same vibe (Nina et al)I think I might finish it off as my show to fall asleep to tonight. It’s a yawn fest that’s for sure. The only decent actor is the woman from Wentworth playing her mum. Asher is just playing Nina in a less frazzled, slightly corporate vibe
or Jamila? Or KDB? Or so so many others Mia has burned through (sorry ‘launched’) over the yearsThe show def improves as you watch it but I’m just distracting trying to work out who is who in each senario eg the “editor” who leaves to go to the competitor (is that Monique Bowley?) and the intern she fired for plagerism who was going to write a book about it (Rosie Waterland?)
Also, Rick Morton, Lauren DB. So many have come and gone from MM. It’s telling when you look at the ones who are still there - says a lots about them and their standards and employability…or Jamila? Or KDB? Or so so many others Mia has burned through (sorry ‘launched’) over the years
Is the “Jit” character supposed to be Jamila? That’s the vibe I was getting. Too intellectual for the low brow content that gets clicksor Jamila? Or KDB? Or so so many others Mia has burned through (sorry ‘launched’) over the years
Yea that’s what I thought. They have given her an environmental focus instead of the political one.Is the “Jit” character supposed to be Jamila? That’s the vibe I was getting. Too intellectual for the low brow content that gets clicks
The character is sooooo unlikeable and unnecessarily abrasive/doesn’t listen to those closest to her which sounds exactly like Mia! I thought they were going to really sugarcoat her. If they did sugarcoat her personality and this is what they ended up with- yikes!Yea that’s what I thought. They have given her an environmental focus instead of the political one.

So I’ve seen 2 episodes and I found it ok not that interesting or groundbreaking. “Mia” correcting everyone who calls it a blog lol. Her character is very unlikable so they have got her down pat haha
one of the most dismal interviews ever. So unprofessional and self indulgentAnd I guess the bad interview with the celeb was when Monique Bowley interviewed Amy Schumer

The word for it? Trainwreck.www.mamamia.com.au
It took me 3 attempts to watch episode 1 and I have seen the first 2 episodes. God it’s boring and underwhelming and just slow. I couldn’t finish the book when I read it years ago. I like how the son character looks like LucaI’m 15 minutes into Strife and it’s so boringdoes it get any better because I can’t watch anymore.
