Would be shocked if she was under $90k. Most couples I know update private health insurance to include obstetrics after they get married…even if you’re not immediately trying, it’s good to have a back up plan for a whoopsy and/or no waiting period for ivf should you want/ need jt

Same here! My second son was the easiest baby, at least compared to his brother. Then he got a bit older and had thoughts and opinions and holy shiz 😵💫
---

Ewwww no! How many chiiiiiiic unit ones suits will she recommend?
I’m the same - most of my newborns are fairly easy but honestly my 6 year old is about to break me and has done so since 18 months.

I listened to the podcast and tbh found it very boring. Great that her first 8 weeks are going well but who cares! The best part of the podcast was the sage advice from Holly about every mother and baby being different and the unfair nature of parenting when you are the one feeding.
---
And more parenting podcasts with the twins - do they not have anyone else to do podcasts except for these two plus Leigh and Holly? I don’t get it?

I’d have to say there isn’t a huge size difference between the six month old and the newborn

She’s seeing Dr Stephen Morris. Massive office in Macquarie St overlooking the botanic gardens and he’s known for delivering celebs.

I actually feel bad for Jessie. I used him for my first pregnancy and didn’t have a good experience (maybe because I’m not a celeb 😂). He overbooks himself so spends very little time with you (it’s like a factory) and has such an odd bedside manner, no warmth or sense of humour at all. Plus a few other things that mean I would not recommend him.

For my next two pregnancies I saw another OB who was amazing, it was like night and day.
Funnily enough I see Dr Morris and have had a great experience for 3 pregnancies. I actually like his style - direct and to the point - but understand he’s is not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s no surprise that Jessie sees him given Mia also used him for one of her pregnancies.
I went through many rounds of IVF for this pregnancy and had some issues from 6-13 weeks and he was very hands on with my treatment, saw me weekly and gave me extra care and I’m not a celebrity.

Family connections to the South African apartheid?!
unsure if that’s fair or accurate. My understanding is her father left South Africa with very little because he didn’t support Apartheid. Dates don’t line up with leaving at the end of apartheid like many did either.

This “hot take” seems highly dismissive of women and their lived experience. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Of course it’s Mia. But also isn’t their whole premise as a media company to be to be a voice for women… just not the annoying, loud, complaining type- unless it equals clicks.

I listened to Tuesday’s subscriber ep yesterday and I couldn’t even tell you what it was about. So boring. Oh just remembered - networking. And why they hate it. Riveting I tell you. Made my drive home feel longer TBH. I hope they read here for some honest feedback and not that suck arse facebook group. The idea of raising money for Holly to see Gwyneth actually makes me feel sick.
You can legit get tickets for $100

I am listening to the 'companion podcast' (I CANNOT EVEN) rn as I tidy my house for christmas celebrations.
The ego and grandiosity on Jessie is out of this world. She is even worse than usual.
And Mia falling inlove with herself in character form 😆

The Every Outfit On SATC podcast also do an awesome recap every week and do not hold back! I get the sense Mia follows them and is “inspired” by a lot of their views.

I did think it was rich that And Just Like That sponsors MMOL but their recap episodes are subscriber only.
MM definitely take their inspiration for And Just Like That topics from other publications and podcasts. And all Mia does in whinge, there's very little nuanced discussion. Way better ones out there. James Weir on Sami Lukis' podcast cracks me up
