Yep I read it and enjoyed, actually made me cry which I don’t think a book has ever done before.
Snark aside I think it’s a very brave thing to write about depression and mental health so openly. Props to her.

So the story today about Luna “failing” her weigh in for being a lazy girl is infuriating… I know she’s trying to be relatable, but it isn’t funny at all for anyone who’s struggled through this in a serious nature with tiny babies..

Do you listen to the 'Cancelled' podcast? They joke all the time on there about being 'lazy gewls' listeners write in with their lazy gewl stories, it's a thing. So when she said Luna was lazy gewl it's a joke about lazy gewls (who are aspirational), rather than a joke about Luna being lazy. If that makes sense

I neved here her name mentioned anywhere anymore.. I know she's on mat leave, but even before then she seemed to have gone very quiet.

Thanks for the info on Laura! Interesting! I liked her on Bach and I’ve followed her on insta since but don’t listen to her podcast or really watch her stories. She seemed super lovely to me so annoying to hear she’s a mean girl!

I don’t know anyone that counted early labour. It’s an exaggeration so that people think you were in screaming pain with contractions every few minutes for days on end.

Yeah I’m the same. Most people just count the active labour whilst in hospital. Early labour can go for a long time and can be mixed up with Braxton Hicks etc.

Recording a companion podcast as though Strife is Succession has me cackling.

I finished it yesterday (not much to do in Sydney at 42 degrees) and genuinely can’t believe such an accomplished production crew made such a mediocre show.

I am listening to the 'companion podcast' (I CANNOT EVEN) rn as I tidy my house for christmas celebrations.
The ego and grandiosity on Jessie is out of this world. She is even worse than usual.

Does anyone else think it’s odd Kelly is doing a paid partnership with the Emily Skye exercise app when Mamamia just launched an exercise app?

Yes I think it’s strange. But I think Emily has just roped in whoever would agree that she already uses to shill for James. I’m not sure what Kelly’s deal is, because she has a podcast totally separate to Mamamia too, so maybe more of a freelancer than a Mamamia employee?
