Now we’re going to have to hear it all over again from Jessie probably also going on about Clare’s baby girl. It really is the Freedman/Lavigne/Stephens show. Poor Holly. The show would absolutely fall apart if she left

It’s part of their “ooh don’t look at me I’m just a tiny little human/gremlin/comedian with too much eyeliner and imposter syndrome” schtick. I’m not sure if it was meant to be funny or make her seem relatable?
I found that a really bizarre thing to say or even think. For all my ultrasounds all I cared about was whether my baby was healthy or not. Physical appearance couldn’t have been further from my mind. Even if she meant it as a joke it’s a weird thing to say and not funny.

Totally agree. I love how Mia loves to flex on her ‘friendship’ with Leigh Sales.
I reckon Leigh tolerates her because she knows Mia operates in an intellectual vacuum owning her own media company whereas Leigh etc have to tow the line working for the ABC and are actually trained writers and journos with gravitas.
Leigh would be far too clever and elegant to stoop to Mia’s shyte but would also know if she tried to distance herself Mia’s butthurt narcissist personality would try to undermine her. Mia wouldn’t survive a second not working for herself where she can just continue to support mediocrity and nepotism.
