What is the reference to people she works with?
Probably talking about the co-producer of her upcoming TV show based on her book:

“Steve Hutensky, a former entertainment lawyer who helped Harvey Weinstein secure secret settlements with women he’d allegedly sexually harassed.

Hutensky is co-founder and chief operating officer of production company Made Up Stories, along with his wife Bruna Papandrea (also producing Strife), which prides itself on producing stories with “intelligent, multifaceted female characters” and is the recipient of millions in Screen Australia grants.”

Of course, I can still comment though and that's why I disclosed I have not been pregnant, and that they spoke to Martha later where the severity of the condition was better explained and spoken about at length, they can't cover everything in just one podcast, Also I didn't play down the condition, just what was discussed,I'll leave it at that:)
It’s fine that they can’t cover everything in one episode, but if they ARE going to present an episode as being about HG, then they need to do it in a responsible way. Of course you can comment and have an opinion, but it’s always better to defer to those with experience, from my perspective. I’ve never had diabetes or cancer or lupus, for instance, so I would never dream of trying to tell a sufferer of those conditions how to feel about representations of them in media. Yes, it’s great that Martha got on there to share her experience, but that doesn’t change how poorly the OB handled her responses to Gemma and Jessie’s question about what differentiates HG from more typical sickness.

Hmmmm thoughts? I hate it she normally looks great even casual the hair and the dress ain't it.
She would look good in anything but yeah I’m not a fan of the dress. It looks a bit strange that her hair is quite casual, especial as her husband is wearing a tux. Seems oddly formal for a Byron wedding?

The show def improves as you watch it but I’m just distracting trying to work out who is who in each senario eg the “editor” who leaves to go to the competitor (is that Monique Bowley?) and the intern she fired for plagerism who was going to write a book about it (Rosie Waterland?)
or Jamila? Or KDB? Or so so many others Mia has burned through (sorry ‘launched’) over the years

That baby needs to be given a bottle - she isn’t lazy, she needs to be fed
I agree she needs to be fed, and that she’s definitely not lazy, but there are plenty of options other than bottles if someone wants to maintain breastfeeding. Syringe and cup feeding, an SNS, etc. But I somehow doubt Jessie will be working with a well qualified IBCLC.

This “hot take” seems highly dismissive of women and their lived experience. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Of course it’s Mia. But also isn’t their whole premise as a media company to be to be a voice for women… just not the annoying, loud, complaining type- unless it equals clicks.

I agree that generic “just you wait” type comments are generally not helpful for new mums as they are often not followed up with any kind of meaningful offer of support… but I also 110% agree that this is dismissive! I find the breastfeeding part particularly irritating because often the same women who don’t want to hear anything about potential challenges are also the same ones who complain about being judged or shamed around breastfeeding or other parenting choices when they find out that actually these things CAN be hard. We need to be able to have nuanced discussions around pregnancy, birth and parenthood that are meaningful rather than scaremongering and also don’t just gloss over the hard parts.

And that Jessie and her didn’t discuss that they were trying? I don’t think they’re as close as they make out to be. She probably said that because Mia will be sending Luna to a private school while Claire and Rory don’t have that family assistance
Wow imagine Luna saying to the other kid ‘my granny is richer than your granny’ 🤣

People are mad in the You Beauty group because the most popular episode of the week, Fridays, has now been out behind the paywall. Pretty cheeky.

Ah ok thanks, I don’t follow him so didn’t see it.
So Clem’s issue is MM didn’t mention it? Feels like a bit of a reach tbh, it’s a big internet with a lot of content!
Or they did mention it and defended it maybe ?

It’s… fine?
I like most of Asher’s wardrobe if I’m looking for something positive?
But this is Tattle so I’m not 😂

If they were looking to make Asher’s character extremely unlikeable they’ve nailed it.
Im up to the election episode which is painful.

I have only watched two episodes (so maybe this addressed later in the series) but why is the main character a smoker? It seems very strange and out of place. You would think that you could have left that out of the series.

I love how Mamamia say that they don't participate in the paparazzi culture, yet in today's story about Sienna Miller, they directly write about the paparazzi photos that show she's pregnant.

Wow they back flipped on that quickly!!!

They could probably film all the episodes and keep that for subscribers. A lot of the content doesn’t work that well with voice only. I wouldn’t still subscribe, but it’s a very easy way to add additional value to subscribers. Or can you watch them already?
