Remember when Mia made a big song and dance about wanting to quit No Filter, Claire M was going to take over etc etc.. what happened to that? Does that mean that Claire just gets the ultra boring Z list people to interview?

Oh same I made to 6cm at 8 hours. I didn’t realise you were supposed to have breaks in between contractions until I did the labour class again when pregnant with my second . Totally different to this situation!

She’s talking as if labour isn’t that bad and she held off until the “perfect moment”, which was really just as soon as she got there. As soon as she couldn’t talk through contractions, which is when midwives usually say it’s time to head to hospital.

There’s no prize for labour. It’s not a competition. The whole “62 hours” and then simultaneously trying to say it was hard, but actually it wasn’t because she’s amazing is just ‍

Hahaha yes, I had no idea either ! Just wondered how people do it when there was literally no time to catch my breath. Boo to being induced .

Ah I see, so soon as it got a little tough she was out. I started listening but lost interest .

The 62 hrs thing is just cringe. She's on that post birth high and telling all from the rooftops. Give it a few months.

Ok will do a recap but I’m 18 mins in and this is what has happened so far:

- she was NOT in proper labour for 62hrs. She is doing yoga, going for walks, watering plants up until Saturday night (40hrs in). She just had some contractions that were light, I would say very early labour/Braxton Hicks. Most women go through this before birth.
- she is very woo woo. Talks a lot about calm birth, going “within” herself and feeling empowered to let her body do what it needs to do and not be in a rush. Standard Jessie taking something pretty regular and turning it into some special experience
- contractions didn’t get strong until late Saturday night. Went to hospital early morning Sunday (had the baby later that day). So standard birth.
- craps on about all the techniques she uses for pain, sounds like a pain in the ass to the nurses and anaesthetist
- Mia and Holly fawning all over her about her “experience”
- got the epidural at 7am Sunday. Talk incessantly about her broken leg experience and how it prepared her for the pain of birth.

Nah I’m convinced she wants this to be her own empire to pass on to her kids and their partners. She sees her family as another Succession

I agree! Maybe Claire is slightly better but she certainly isn’t adding a new perspective to the conversation. I can barely listen to Outloud these days. It’s quite boring and very self interested.

Mine never have either! None of my friends care about the silly pop culture stuff I do (or use Tattle or even know it exists) so luckily my partner is a very good sport and listens to my daily rambles about what these people are up to always grateful for the witty and clever people on here as well!

Yes I think it’s strange. But I think Emily has just roped in whoever would agree that she already uses to shill for James. I’m not sure what Kelly’s deal is, because she has a podcast totally separate to Mamamia too, so maybe more of a freelancer than a Mamamia employee?

Kelly seems like a lite version of Leigh…, complaining and whinging about not going out or having me time, then attending OTT parties like she doesn’t have a little toddler at home.
These people live a very warped existence in my opinion and seem very self centred. I’d hate to be in their head listening to the noise that must go on..

That’s Claire, not Jessie, to be fair. Though Jessie’s is just as bad usually.

They both wear it the same and it looks horrendous on them. No one is still doing thick liner around their whole eyeballs! Surely there’s someone in the beauty area of Mamamia who could tell them it looks shite.
