Vestiaire have been known to sell fakes. The only place where you are 100% sure to get the real deal is in the real shop! She definitely said her Petit Malle was from Vestiaire - I remember. Couldn’t have been fake if that’s the case.
Well said, @AmaliaLana - you are so right!!Oh Donna, her comment about the expensive gifts being not a sign of a struggling relationship... honey, that's not how it works.
Hermès never really needs to know you’ve decided to go secondhand. In some cases, that’s the only way. My mom wanted a specific style/color/leather combo that isn’t produced anymore, so when the bag popped up on a resale site, she bought it. She still has a great relationship with her SA. BUT! My mom has 1) been a long time customer and 2) isn’t an influencer who has said time and again they didn’t like the ViBe of Hermès and just wanted to make an unboxing video for the views and $$$. So .Not too bad the price, she could probably sell it for double in the states, that is if she doesn’t stick gum and her fries in it!
Doesn’t the real Hermès get upset when people make up a wish list and then go down the second hand( brand new!!) route. It is actually going 100% against them and refusing to play their game!
Please, please don’t say that!! I bought two bags from VC before realising they are way overpriced - don’t want to even imagine they don’t authenticate vigorously.Vestiaire have been known to sell fakes. The only place where you are 100% sure to get the real deal is in the real shop!
I can't remember who said it on here as it was back around May time but they said something about it being slightly different to the one they had. I have read some stories about people getting scammed in VestiareShe definitely said her Petit Malle was from Vestiaire - I remember. Couldn’t have been fake if that’s the case.
I don't think well-known sites would intentionally sell fakes though. I can see that a really good fake might slip through. But in general these companies are pretty serious about maintaining their good reputation. Please, please don’t say that!! I agree with you those sites take a percentage of the sale which is why I find the prices are so much higher on them than say a store like Sellier Knightsbridge.Just my two cents - I would never buy an Hermès bag from Vestiaire, The Real Real, Farfetch or any of the other larger re-sale sites. I would either go through a reputable, boutique consignment store/site or a reseller who sources from a vetted group of sellers. The one I buy from does have a storefront on Vestiaire, but I either buy directly from their own website or email them directly about a listing.

They have a very strange way of authenticating bags, a few pics and the receipt! Only if there is a query will they then take the bag back and say yes real, no fake. I don’t believe they have real specialists. And yes very over priced.I don't think well-known sites would intentionally sell fakes though. I can see that a really good fake might slip through. She also didn’t realize the little drawstring bag hanging off the handle had the clochette in it. That’s Hermès Kelly/Birkin 101.She comes across so uneducated in these bags, to me at least off my own experiences if I am so excited about an item I'd learn thoroughly about it and memorize everything because I am so excited about it, I hope that makes sense? She always reads off things. I don't understand why she feels it's a negative thing to admit to things being second hand? You're such a snooty biatch! Why does he have to overcompensate and explain every little farty detail, every time she does that I actually wonder what her viewers are thinking, it makes her look silly. That explanation of the name mispronunciation is utter bullshit!! Is she actually for real!? You are making yourself look an idiot, you explain you know how it's pronounced but you do it wrong and give a half assed reason as to why it's wrong, just SHUT UP YOU you are literally throwing yourself under the bus for looking stupid if you know how something it said, you will say it how it is!! I can NOT with this woman anymore.
You’ve got to be very careful with Vestiaire. People have had authencity cards stolen from their bags when they sent the bags after sale was agreed, the buyer refused to buy as they were keen to get hold of the auth card as part of the sale. Seller lost out, had to go get copy of receipt from Chanel which took ages and involved a lot of stress. I have spotted many fake bags on VC, they’re so clearly fake given the poor stitching etc and I wonder if VC are trying to get rid of these bags and hope that authenticity card for such bags would help boost sales. I don’t trust VC anymore, sorry. My husband’s advice is - if an item is so heavily reliant on the brand name to be worth the price you’re paying then it’s a lot of risk to rely on the word of an company when you don’t know the individuals doing the authenticating etc especially when we have seen a number of fakes on VC which were later taken off the website. Best to buy from the boutique and if you can’t get hold of the bag then it was never meant to be and at least your money’s safe.I can't remember who said it on here as it was back around May time but they said something about it being slightly different to the one they had. Well she bleeping brings it on herself .... she should look hard at why loyal followers suddently get their backs up with her content .... jesus they pay her salary ...get with it .. if a client wants something you bend over backwards to give it to them .. you don't turn around and spit and show your nasty ass comments at them .. but this is where she lacks in clarity .. she has never had a proper job so she has no intellect or ability to see when she is wrong!People are killing her in the comments. This must've hurt real bad.
Did she not say she’d already bought some it gets better!!
Yup. I did all my research before hand about the kind of leathers, the different sizes available in each model, the sellier vs retourne, the various colours available, how to keep the shape, how different people tied their twillys - I knew the bag inside out before I even got hold of it. I didn’t want to end up paying a bomb for a bag and not be happy with it coz I hadn’t don’t the relevant research etc.She also didn’t realize the little drawstring bag hanging off the handle had the clochette in it. For such a pricey bag, and especially if it’s your first one, you learn the history of the house, the bag and the design. Like come on. Your incompetence and apathy is showing Lidl!
Come on Ali - grow a pair and leave the stupid witch!! You deserve betterWith most of the world on and off lockdown during 2020 - no employees ( Dec / Jan ), no painters, no family, no postmen, no trips to act as a buffer or fill in the blanks, so to speak, in their relationship - most relationships have either broken down completely ie. divorced during this time or couples have become closer.
It's just like at Christmas time when families are 'forced' to spend time together. I have noticed, especially with celebrities, a high number of divorces are announced in January, after the holidays and spending so much free time together, when couples have realise they no longer wish to be in a relationship with their partners.
For the last weeks or so, (we assume) these 2 numpties have been on their own.
Just the 2 of them.
All by themselves.
24/7.
'Enjoying' the bliss ( ) of each other's company.
We have not seen pics of them as a couple. Only what she tells us how much time they have spent together, allllllll by themselves.
Just.
What.
She.
Tells.
Us.
And we KNOW how much she exaggerates.
And tells lies.
It may very be that Ali has realised the absolute inequality of roles in their relationship and is taking a stand. We can only wish for him to stand up for himself.
And so, today, after days and days of silence, and probably reading Tattlers speculation of her marital woes, she has suddenly posted a gushing tribute to Ali. Over-compensating to say the least.
I also think she just does not have a lot of work, bar Karen Millen, ByTerry and her puppy sponsors from her promises to them in November.
More importantly though, I think she is SUPER SUPER PISSED :
1. at having a mole on her private Instagram ;
2. for said money mole exposing her 'duck U 2020' Birkin before she could, and
3. Dr Filler revealing Porteraloo before she could.
Ooooooooh she mad. Maddddddddddd angry.
Lastly, she is probably exhausted watching Ali looking after and cleaning up after the puppy.
And from Ali disturbing her sleep when he gets up at night to check on the puppy.
Yay 2021 !!!
It reminds me of Vic’s (inthefrow) secondhand Kelly purchase. She has mentioned in the past wanting a bright yellow one, but then was offered a voucher from a resale site, so now has a navy one. Go figure. All these witches selling out for their not dream bag all because of a discount.Aww poor little moo moo she is SOOO desperate to keep up with the jones.... sorry Claire and Tamara she's buying secondhand handbags that she doesn't really want because she cant afford the real thing. It really is pathetic my lovely.
Que 3 days in bed and no video Thursday.People are killing her in the comments. This must've hurt real bad.
