Missing questions in Q&A...."are you & Zara a couple?" "If you aren't a couple why are you buying a house together?" "What happens to the house when Zara meets someone" etc etc etc.......
He has addressed those questions before though to be fair.

Yes think he sort of said when the time came when one of them wanted to move in with someone else they would be professional about it. They are treating the house together as a business venture as much as a place for them both to call home at the moment. I guess as long as it works for them who are we to judge it's very difficult to buy as a single person especially were they live / are going to live..

They will get a shock when they find out that you if anything happens to one of them the other automatically gets the house and not family etc it gets complicated with co-owners. The advice is never co-own with a friend

They 100% are just desperate to get onto the property ladder which I understand but what they’re doing isn’t sensible long term

I just don't understand why Zara would want to do it? For Luke I think the benefit is Zara's fixed and predictable income, as oppose to his which will cause complications in the mortgage process. Same story with Joel Wood (if anyone is familiar) and the friend he bought a place with.

I just don't understand it, I honestly think it will make getting into a serious relationship hard for anyone involved from the start, let alone then the legal hassle if one wants to leave.

Yes seems to be more of a benefit for Luke. It would be too complicated for me I think.

I'm not sure what she gets out of this? It can only cramp her style with dating and friendships being glued to his side and potentially owning a house.

Why would it cramp her style? Its her choice and she has decided to own a home with Luke. Anyway she has the better deal she goes to work he stays home and does his vlogs and instagram and walks the dog cleans the home and then she comes home to a cooked meal.

That is true and he gets freebies that he shares with her , like free furniture and meals out !

What you've described there is a house husband :ROFLMAO: not a friendship!

Also, anyone notice how in the latest video he talks about wanting to build a property portfolio? Of course he does, yet another wannabe property parasite...

You can clearly see that they are friends and very fond of each other. Im sure they have talked about the house issue and they have both agreed to do it Im sure Zara who doesn't look like a push over has thought about it all and that is why she has agreed to go ahead as she can see the benefits of it all as does Luke. No one says if Zara went solo how she would afford to do it on her own. Its ok to say about them getting partners in the future but that is in the future and they have considered all this so as two good friends this is what they are going and good luck to them

Hi Zara! Just kidding ;)

Zara is defo a pushover though. Have you seen the way Dorky Head speaks to her? I'd slap that cheesy smirk off his face. Defo seems like a co-dependent relationship. Anyone know what happened to Luke's former bestie that was featured in his earlier vids?

Why TF is he talking about building a property portfolio? He's the queen of premature announcements. Mate, buy your first property first and then you can humble brag.

I imagine their very close friendship / house husband style relationship is quite off putting for any potential BFs for Zara … it’s a bit much !

He should have stayed closer to home to buy his first property as I would imagine Durham is a less expensive area to buy in - maybe a small flat initially to get on the property ladder and then move to a more expensive one.

I agree

He seems to think that he needs to stay near London for his career which I don't get. If he already has a following then surely he could build on that elsewhere and still visit London sometimes. I get that Zara has a job in London but she could get a job in property anywhere in the country and afford a better house.

Maybe go and shout into the void of a rave thread for Zara and Luke - it seems you're very fond of them both!

Most financial advisors strongly advise against buying a house with friends as it can get so complicated in the future.

Zara definitely doesn't look like a pushover, I never said she did. She looks like a little lost lamb and tbh the lights sometimes don't look quite on a lot of the time but that could just be because she works a proper job and then has to perform for Luke's camera, too so is knackered.

Owning a property with someone is harder to get out of than marriage , our mortgage broker told us that when we were first time buyers ! Thankfully not had to go through either but that’s is a HUGE commitment to have with a friend

This is not a rave thread 🙄. These 2 codependent idiots will find a significant other if they ever stop being glued to each other socially and financially. At that point it inevitably gets much harder with property. They should keep quiet about buying until they actually do. Luke sounds like an idiot babbling on. They need to save, save, save not show copious spending on tatt and drinks etc.

We know it's not a rave thread but people have an opinion good or bad and can comment either way just as I do and you do.
