He justifies his travelling around the last few years by saying he is exposed so much to covid in London anyway that he might as well travel abroad. He would be off like a flash wherever in England he lived can't get in the way of his lifestyle.

Yes and don’t forget “going to Hamburg for work” - was that not during the pandemic ? His work is hardly classed as “essential” !

He makes me laugh how he tries to be pretentious with the way he talks about food but clearly has no idea what he’s on about

“egg parpadelle with meatballs and soffrito” just call it what it is you wanky twit , it’s pasta and meatballs in tomato sauce …

pasta and soffrito would be rank

soffrito is just the fancy name for diced onion, celery and carrot and is the base of the sauce … it’s not the actual name of the sauce 😂 I use soffrito all the time when I make pasta sauces from scratch because it’s a good way to pack in veg for my kid without him noticing but I don’t tell my husband I’ve made him soffrito sauce .. I just say pasta sauce or bolognese or whatever it is I’ve made ! That would be like using onion as the base for your tomato soup and calling it “onion”

he has no idea about food and clearly all he knows is what he reads on the labels of stuff in Waitrose .. I do enjoy it when he pretends to be knowledgeable and pretentious but just misses the mark completely ! 😂

It infuriated me the other vlog when Luke said he's a little bit dyslexic.

You can't be a little bit dyslexic Luke, you're either dyslexic or you're not. It can manifest in different ways for different people but to say you're a little bit dyslexic is actually quite stigmatising. Sounds a bit like 'I'm not like them other stupid dyslexic people'

Non-gourmet food for their dog? I am shocked.

I'm surprised Luke feeds her Purina-Nestle, which is like the "fast-food" of dog food.

I agree. I expected Lily’s Kitchen or Waitrose at the very least…

Antique dining table and wooden chairs now in situ. Looks much better than the Wayfair one which turned out wobbly but keeping the kindly gifted Cult Furniture chairs for when they move. What a mish-mash of stuff. Buy cheap buy often so the saying goes (or not buy in his case). 🤦‍♀️

“In the eyes of the law, driving too slowly is a hazard to those who are following the speed limit maximum and may cause unnecessary road rage to other drivers. This can then lead to them taking risks and making reckless decisions on the road”

so yea it’s really hilarious ….. NOT 😖
But on the other hand, someone driving in the dark, on a road they don't know, trying to maintain a 60mph speed if that is the limit can also be dangerous an therefore it is appropriate to moderate driving speed to ensure safety.

I did this, driving a road I didn't know, 60 limit, I spent my time on the road doing between 30-40 because I didn't feel comfortable going faster on a road I didn't know.

Luke's interior design scheme:

1. If gifted: MCM-style furniture

2. If thrifted: Anything older than 50 years old because "I like that it has history"

3. Paint colour: Anything goes, as long as the paint is gifted

I actually like the table but agree he has no taste , he just likes whatever is free and what he’s seen on Pinterest

I love older styles but you need to commit to that , you can’t mix that with cheap modern furniture .. just makes it look like a student house

I'm wondering why they didn't wait until after they moved to get a new dining set. Seems like such a hassle

Because every video he has made since Christmas has been about pasta, so he needed something else to talk about 😂

New vlog is up … he’s still buying stuff 🙄
He’s bought another one of those pictures that looks like it’d be in a jumble sale or on the wall for years in your gp surgery, does he have a good eye for art that I don’t have, or is he just buying crap? 🤣🤣 He’s also got a mobile kitchen island too which is hilarious.

I laugh out loud every time he shows off his “art”…normally either a tourist piece from the 80’s or amateur artist’s ‘work in progress’ that was a “bargain” at £8 in the charity shop…the boy has no clue. As for the kitchen “island” that he keeps in his bedroom and wheels through to the kitchen for videos…it feels cruel to take the piss out of it on here…even he must realise that this is a bit tragic?

What about when Luke is out of the house and Zara wants to cook for herself? I'd be a bit miffed if my flatmate kept our shared kitchen supplies in their bedroom...
