Lucy Letby Case #82

@AllieBee that's all I remember too. She was just using him, there's no way she was in love with him (don't think she's capable of that) and he was just taken in by her sweet little Lucy act-like so many seem to be.

I’m assuming I’m right in knowing who this guy was, going from previous chat on here… but I’m questioning if I’m right because I can’t find one single thing online that suggests he has died .. do the people who know that there’s going to be an inquest into his death and the circumstances etc know him IRL? Or am I just missing something and there has been articles/ posts/ obituary etc

obviously they can’t be posted but if there is something online with his real name then maybe I have the wrong person as nothing is coming up

Maybe they are not reporting his death online at the moment to stop people putting two and two together and trying to guess his identity. It must be hard for his family, they will be grieving and don't want a load on of Letby loons getting hold of his identity.

I don’t believe she was in love with him either, he was just someone else to manipulate. She probably loved the fact he was married with kids and she was leading him on. I think her little tantrum when he took the stand was trying to show she still had power over him as well. So many lives blighted by this toxic creature. Even the simps, I don’t feel sorry for them at all but they are publicly outing themselves as unhinged fantasists, conspiracy theorists, lacking integrity, perverts or a combination of these.

Ooh they will be kicking and screaming about this. Half expected Sky News to add about her “innocence” campaign but nope, just her crimes reported along with the other worst of the worst.

It is understood that the doctor also faced other serious allegations, including that he inappropriately accessed medical records and risked patient safety, which cannot be revealed for legal reasons.

Was really not expecting the story to go that way 😳
No and given the length of time that’s passed I had presumed that his actions weren’t considered gross misconduct but that extra detail also makes it sound like he did more than what we know about. Took an awfully long time for them to have the hearing though. Unless new information came to light since Thirlwall.

Holy tit. I hope it was stress caused and not…you know 😞 His poor family!
Reading between the lines, it sounds like he attempted suicide after being fired but was found alive and then, obviously, later died in ICU. Hence the ‘being ill for sometime’ before he died. Being referred to the GMC after being fired would be devastating for any doctor, let alone one whose been carrying the stress of being mates (or more) with a serial killer, the public inquiry, the court case etc. I feel so sorry for his family and children.

The Sun are reporting this:
Cheshire Police, which has faced criticism over its handling of the case, refused to provide usual details after the registrar’s death.

And a listing for his death appeared to have been removed from the coroner’s website.

I know there was an anonymity order in place but I think given his own misconduct as a paediatric doctor, and he’s now dead, at some point there surely is an argument that there is a public interest into him too and not just Letby. He didn’t deserve to end up dead, but that also doesn’t mean he should be protected. At the time of the trial itself I’m sure it was reported his kids were taking exams so maybe they are now over the age of 18. I absolutely expect the media to try and get the anonymity order lifted. I just don’t know if they will be successful.

I had hoped he had died of a natural illness and his death was unrelated to Letby because this is another life that she's
ruined. He had poor judgement but if he'd never met her he could have continued his career and done some good with his life. Feel for his family.

He won a case in the High Court last year over how his Trust was investigating him - but seems it didn't halt the investigation.
