Transcript from Dr Oliver Rackham. Do he didn't praise Letby, Dr Noname at it again!
Can’t believe EP asked him to put it in writing. As if it would somehow prove she wasn’t murdering babies.

Kelly’s evidence gets worse and worse. She sounds like a truther at times. She purposefully says on two occasions “the poor babies suffered suboptimal care”. These people literally handed Letby her defence on a platter. They aided and abetted Britain’s worst killer of children. All empathy is gone. She deserves prison. Her weasel words are making me bleeping sick.

Ref Alison Kelly - She’s the head of Safeguarding for the hospital yeh? Not the whole Trust - let’s imagine that the rest of the hospital was semi competent and just working away - what other potential safeguarding issues could take up so much of her time, that the sudden and unexpected deaths of a load of babies on the neonatal unit were not her top safeguarding concern - that she didn’t have time to read her emails or attend meetings with the people raising the concerns?

Just absolute bull from her. I think so far she’s been the worst one and that’s saying somat!

In the evidence section, INQ0002797, note of meeting between Alison Kelly, Letby etc etc, Letby raises concerns about her workload in PALs. I've read that as a complaint she's being asked to do too much.

Weird she suddenly gets work shy when she doesn't have direct patient contact. She was always so eager to come in for extra shifts and get let in without her swipe card on days she wasn't even supposed to be there so she could "catch up on paperwork"....

Do we know yet what happened at Alder Hey? It says in the latest evidence uploads that she had been going. Has it been established whether or not she had patient contact when there, does anybody know?

I read that she was only allowed to go to Alderhey on the condition she had no patient contact and was with Dr Noname at all times.

Filthy bleeping lying witch. How can she lie like that with the parents sitting there. So all the way along she blames “drawer of doom” and lack of evidence and when she hears that a leading consultant says that he is suspicious of direct incidents that would cause harm and she was cotside three times, Alison Kelly (I hope you google your name hun) responds with “she should go back”. bleeping disgrace.

Thanks. What worries me is that it ended up happening anyway. She manipulates everybody so it wouldn't shock me at all if she somehow managed to get to be around patients unsupervised tbh. Nothing would shock me about the NHS now. I really hope for the sake of the parents with babies at Alder Hey at the time that it can be definitively confirmed that she did not have patient contact.

I am sick of hearing from these people, "they were coming to us with a gut feeling; there was no evidence being brought". YES THERE WAS.

I am finding it hard to put into words just how sickening this all is. We're supposed to have a public service that we can entrust to care for us and our families; and you've got executives and LL's own parents riding roughshod over the whole ethos of the NHS. It makes me absolutely furious.

Chambers says that he wants to say something before his evidence begins.

He takes a long, deep, breath and says: “So… right at the outset I just want to offer my heartfelt condolences to all of the families whose babies are at the heart of this inquiry."

"I can only imagine… well, I can’t imagine, the impact that this has had on your lives, and I am truly sorry for the pain that may have been prolonged by any decisions or actions that I took in good faith," he says.

"I am very grateful to have this opportunity to take part, openly and honestly in this inquiry and hope that answers can be arrived at and recommendations made.”

i know where I would want to shove his apology if I was the parents

I wonder if he’s going to throw the other execs, esp Ian Harvey, under the bus.

It’s BNE2 again today. He’s doing all the big guns himself isn’t he? No Ms Langdale.

And takes no time getting straight to the point

After all his incompetence he got his £1m pension pot which has been widely reported in the press.
