Aha! It was all a dastardly plot by Madame Tussauds to get a new waxwork for the chamber of horrorsVery much enjoyed this so thought I’d share!
Who needs facts and logic when you can just bluster irrelevant, unfounded, incorrect sentences fluently from your a, with seemingly no care for the distress to the parents?---
Quite a lot of what DD said was not shown to the jury actually was.
He missed out that most of the babies didn't actually have infections.
They all bugger off after PMQs on a Wednesday, so speaking late in the afternoon is especially bad if you want MPs to be there. Generally there isn't much turnout for adjournment debates anyway as it's when most people take a comfort break or get food.I’ve put parliament tv on. It’s still children’s well-being and schools bill. But there aren’t many there. They seem to speak for 4 mins and once they have their say they are leaving.
Have they gone to the canteen to have a cup of tea so they are all refreshed for the Letby debate? Or are they going home?
(genuinely don’t know if they are due to comeback but if they are going home already it doesn’t bode well for a post 7pm debate.)

I'm not convinced he's spent much time on this. He was talking about things that have already been dealt with by the Court of Appeal as if he didn't know they had been. He's being used but is too old and slow to realise - kind of like a less sharp Joe Biden.Who needs facts and logic when you can just bluster irrelevant, unfounded, incorrect sentences fluently from your a, with no care for the distress to the parents?
This debate made me furious. I know the NG talking points are superficially convincing if you don't know the case well. But ffs it wouldn't have taken David Davis much work to check out these assertions, even, gosh imagine it read the CoA ruling and also the accounts of what evidence was presented to the jury. He obviously couldn't be bothered. Many people are too busy to dive into the case. But they're not using their position in Parliament in a way that must be causing so much anguish to the parents.
It’s Norwich. I forget his first name.Which one of Letbys new "experts" is a retired paediatrician?
It will be a bit of an anti-climax when tonight’s headlines becomes tomorrow’s chip paper and Letby still isn’t going anywhere. David Davis wont get to speak on it again anytime soon. What will they do when they don't wake up tomorrow as expected to headlines about the CCRC quashing her convictions, I wonder?
I'd heard this during the trial. It maybe common for any paediatricians, they work in highly charge cases collecting evidence that children have been abused or families are angry when a child's treatment doesn't work. Probably has no relevance to the trial. Here’s the transcript.

Is this new?
Questions have also been raised about the second expert witness for the prosecution, Dr Sandie Bohin. Eight families are currently filing formal complaints against her over their children’s care, which are being considered by the General Medical Council.
They are all in together, Crapton, Saritta Adams, Gill etc. There wasn't anything new in his speech.I’ve just read on Reddit that Crapton’s article was published online 9 minutes after Davis finished. So they must have a direct or mutual link. Unless I’m underestimating her typing speed of course.
Yes BM really got the sht end of the stick when he had to take on Letby. Probably making sure he's very busy now so he's not available if she's charged again.I did feel for BM in DD's speech, when he said Lucy was wrongly imprisoned due to the defence not raising points about the taps and baby O's care. They did make these points when they called Lorenzo the plumber and questioned Dr Marindas ,the child pathologist, on baby O liver injury.
