Dr Ravi Jayaram today 🥰 I wonder if there will be live reporting.

I do expect Dr J and Dr B to be given quite a hard time still. I understand the difficult position they were in and if they had no support and nobody believed them then why would the police, but I think they will still be questioned on why they didn’t just go over everybody’s heads and talk directly to the police.
It wasn't just a case of no support, all the hierarchy were against them and their careers and livelihoods were being threatened. I can totally understand why going to the police would be a hard step to take without the support of the senior managers.

I hope the docs and clinical staff also reflect on the indictment babies whose lives they undoubtedly saved. Baby M in particular.

If Ravi ever turns out to be an absolute b I fear my heart would never recover.

It would have been so hard for them. They didn't know she was a murderer they just had suspicions, and if they were made to feel there wasn't enough evidence, they must have thought the police may not have believed them either and they would have wrecked their careers for nothing. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but how dreadful those poor doctors must feel now, guilt because now they know without a doubt that Letby murdered and they could have stopped it. They have to live with that for the rest of their lives, but in that situation at the time, without hindsight, they did as much as they felt they could do. But without them and their persistence, so many more babies could have died, so they have undoubtedly saved lives with the actions they did take.

So Crapton is collaborating with this Twitter account to write her crappy articles 😂

Name behind the account is Cleuci de Oliveria

A journalist in Brazil who hasn’t had anything else published since 2019?

Why do these journalists take old news, twist and it make it out to be a revelation! Baby D, was recovering from pneumonia there was no real evidence of sepsis. Her (presumably) non medically trained, mother knew her death from pneumonia didn't make sense so spent hours going through her medical notes. The X Ray before she died showed no serious infection and a later X Ray showed a very unusual line of air. The radiologist said he had only seen one other X Ray like this and that was baby A.

Crapton seems to be leading with another suspect slant on today’s proceedings. Can’t even be arsed to screen shot or read but basically she’s leading with Dr RJ denying he invented his suspicions. Which has been thoroughly covered in court and I doubt anyone from the inquiry has questioned him on that today. So it’s probably just something she’s pulled out in order to print a load of rit about him I’m sure. Definitely not going to be the big take from today is it.

All gone a bit quiet - was hoping to hear about the events after Letby was taken off the unit and before the police were called i.e. the Letby grievance period

Yeah, I keep checking Judith's twitter but she's been quiet for 5 hours. Maybe she's having a nap!

They like to say he made up the rash. The babies definitely had an unusual rash, there are accounts written in the notes. Letby even noted a rash on baby E.

Yikes … that’s a lot of evidence in one go.
I don’t like reading the handwritten medical notes, it feels so intrusive for the families as if they haven’t suffered enough.
