It really adds context to the not good enough note. I bet this all started when she failed and this was all her revenge.
I wonder if she had the handover sheet from that shift under her bed. After what we know about her now I doubt it was a accidenthttps://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cq8xjqxv0y9o Jesus Christ, she gave a baby *ten times* the prescribed dose of morphine in 2013
How the duck weren't these incidents on her record and checked before she joined COCH? Or were they and it wasn't considered in the decision making. Such a serious error should have meant she never administered medication ever again. Even if they thought it was a mistake, the incompetence alone should have been a serious enough issue. And this…
The inquiry heard in another incident in April 2016, Letby gave antibiotics to a baby that had not been prescribed them.
In an internal document reflecting on what happened Letby wrote: "I feel this situation was unavoidable and care was given to the best of our ability."

I think the only doubt at the time was because private eye called her a ‘nurse’ when she’s a nursery nurse.
I really, really want to hear more about the April 2016 “error” because that’s towards the end of this one year killing spree so why wasn’t this a major red flag? None of the doctors earlier on in the inquiry mentioned it at all so did they even know? Who did know? How the duck weren't these incidents on her record and checked before she joined COCH? TL;DR: She has worked hard to try and improve but remains tit.
I suppose it depends whether it was Datixed or not. It should have been but with Powell so firmly in Letbys camp who knows?I really, really want to hear more about the April 2016 “error” because that’s towards the end of this one year killing spree so why wasn’t this a major red flag? I really do wonder what happens to the killing urge in prison? How does she channel it? Obviously she has no way of carrying out that sort of thing in there, they are hardly going to let her work in the sick bay or whatever they have so where does that urge go?In context now it’s hard to imagine how LL got away with it so long but it’s kinda clear we typically don’t believe anyone is capable of harming vulnerable babies. LL was a narcissist and incredibly deceptive.
I just wish along the way that someone sooner had spotted what she was up to. The signs are so clear now.
At least she was caught. Imagine just a month or two longer the more damage she could’ve done.
I wonder how her life in prison is. Does she relive these murders with relish, in her own head she can’t have denial, that’s only for the outside world. Does she regret her clumsy errors that gave her crimes eventually away? Has she hatred for those against her? Does she connive to exploit those who believe she is innocent?
Escalated more than it should be? That dose could have killed that baby. Surely its a never eventMore evidence up… this is messages from 2013 drug “error”. Eirian had her back. I cannot WAIT to hear about Eirian’s evidence tomorrow.

And the corresponding datix…as reported, it happened before handover and so it wasn’t even Letby that raised it of course.

I honestly wonder if killing was just incidental, in that she loved the drama and grief she caused, then the praise got for being good in a crisis and that was what she was after. She will be getting similar from reliving the families grief laid out in the inquiry, and the adoration from her weird “fans” so I don’t personally think she will be having the urge to kill but I bet she gets involved in prison drama.I suppose it depends whether it was Datixed or not. It should have been but with Powell so firmly in Letbys camp who knows?
