What a harrowing and terribly heartbreaking read, that’s hit really hard …the
Mum & Dad of O,P & R

it really conveys the feeling of powerlessness everyone must have felt in the wake of these awful inexplicable collapses. Parents, staff, everyone except Letby.
So it was Dr U/is that no-name (?) who went to speak to Mum on the ward to explain about baby O needing extra breathing support but that it was all ok, only for he himself to then arrive back on the unit probably just minutes later with Mum and Dad to a scene of panic and chaos that he clearly wasn’t expecting. More attention seeking while Dr U was off unit, or would poor baby O still be suffering the effects of the original sabotage? Either way , it is utterly unbearable..
I really hope he is called to give evidence.
Also - I thought Dr no name was a registrar…by this point, was he a consultant, which seems to be suggested here…and a person of some seniority. Sorry, just thinking out loud here.
The whole experience of CoCH sounds dismal, depressing and chaotic. Probably a perfect place for an aspiring HSK to lurk undetected and unchallenged for so long. And all so vividly recalled - it must be a nightmare for these poor parents to have to relive this. They’ve been treated appallingly. I hope they can find some strength from finally being listened to ( sounds like mummy O,P, R wasn’t even given chance to speak at trial )
