In court Letby tried to say baby G may have been fed twice in error and named another nurse (I can't remember which nurse) who may have made a mistake. Obviously nobody believed this.
I think that in itself is an obvious lie. I don't know much about feed amounts for premie babies, but baby G was really small so if she vomited 45mls of milk that seems far more than twice the amount she should have been given? 22.5 ml of milk seems a lot for a baby that tiny?

45ml is just over 1.5oz which is what my 9.3lb born 40wk, just about managed when she was a newborn. Seems an insane amount for a little dot of a baby

Was it child G that BNE proved she was lying because of her text messages. Something to do with she agreed feeding would take two hands and be done slowly, but the window of messaging meant it was a really short amount of time. So she was either messaging whilst actually feeding the baby, or it proved she fed the baby quickly. Or was that an older baby.

It’s awful but it upsets the Truther ghouls because they like to claim the parents only have their accounts because the police told them everything and who was suspected etc.
It well established that the Police took statements from certain parties, including parents, before Letby was named specifically to avoid the possibility of the defence crying "foul".
---
I haven't been here for some time but the lack of understanding, in particular by X users, about the police and legal process and hoops they have to jump though not to compromise evidence is frustrating. The sheer volume of false assumptions and accusations of wrong doing that are so basic, the evidence would have been inadmissible, is scary. Most just make it up as they go along as it feeds into their fantasies of an "us and them" society where they are the downtrodden intellectuals fighting the good fight against the v some organised evil that rules them. It doesn't fit the narrative that some of the cruellest evil walks amongst us and wears many disguises, often posing as the most caring and altruistic and smiles and nods at the right times.
---
I'll also place a wager that he will read this and be unable to resist posting about it on X and doubling down on his efforts or making some unpleasant remark about me, rather than reflecting on the foolishness of this particular crusade..

Oh yes I saw some of these a few days ago but not his most recent ones. This is more than just conspiracy theory. He’s utterly vile and he’s exactly why the families need to remain anonymous.
He's disgusting. A total creep. Karma will come to him

He will. He spends most of his life reading on tattle hoping to see a post about him. Sad little p. See he was rooting for that vile Huw Edwards to be let off as well. Tells me all I need to know about him, definitely needs his hard drive checking

He's a sad little man. I'd go so far as to say he doesn't care about Letby in the slightest. He's figured out that the things he says bring him attention that he desperately craves because he doesn't get any from normal human interaction because he's a bleeping weirdo and people avoid him like the plague.

He addresses Tattlers on X with his little hashtag and then rushes over here to check to see if we're talking about him in order to make himself feel important and relevant. It's bleeping tragic, and if he wasn't such a bleep I'd pity him. But alas, he is.

Yeah would probably be better if we just totally ignored him, deprived him of the oxygen of attention, but some of the things he writes are so idiotic and insensitive, I can't help it. He definitely is sub human though and not all there mentally.

I am not normally a violent person but I would happily drag Chris Williams down a back alley and kick the holy crap out of him. What an absolute bleep of a man he is.

They are struggling on X at the moment. The LWH tube dislodgements %, the ‘dad is on the floor crying’ message, mum of baby E’s testimony just a few of the things they are doing Olympic style mental gymnastics over to try and keep Lucy as the good guy. Hitchens has progressed to complaining about the police digging up her garden and how on earth did the press know 🙄

Apparently ‘on the floor crying’ is a figure of speech. I don’t know, this sounds very literal to me!

Transcripts from Tuesday are up 😣
I can’t get my head around the parents being woke up at 6am to be told someone has been arrested for murdering their child, when the parents had no idea it was even that kind of investigation. I don’t know what the answer is because I know the 6am arrest is done for a reason and they can’t really give the parents a heads up. Maybe the parents should have been told they were investigating if there was any intentional harm. If your child was murdered in the street by a stranger then you would know about it before they arrested someone. I don’t know. I think whilst I know the case needed to be protected, the parents should have known more than they did.

I think a face to face with a liaison officer would have at least been a bit more courteous.

This is very troubling imo. I bet I know who had that blanket 😰

Also just reading, again, how a mother has been told it’s ok to go to sleep and then get woken up from that sleep because their baby is dying. That must be so traumatising for them, and then the police do the same to them! Wake them up to tell them they are arresting someone for murdering their tiny baby. I don’t know how these parents can sleep, if they even do!
---
You wonder how anybody could be so cruel. Attacking the second twin just after the first, trying to put a living baby in a cold cot, dressing and photograhing babies she'd just killed, with Baby I, she even photographed her sympathy card in the place where she'd been murdered!

I think the parent's testimonies are showing just how powerful maternal instinct is. Baby B was not safe in that NNU and her mother knew it, that's why she couldn't sleep and was ringing every two hours. Babies C and D's mothers couldn't accept the hospital's version of events because they knew there was something badly wrong.
Your comment about how powerful mother’s instinct is has struck me again reading baby D’s mum’s testimony. This is no criticism of the fathers, but it’s another mother talking about how she knew something wasn’t right, asking lots of questions, requesting information, not giving up, feeling like she’s losing her mind, husbands worried about them. But they were right all along. It’s so incredibly powerful like you say. But I can just imagine what friends and family around these women were probably like. They are so strong and brave.
