The object of Letby's alleged affections, known only as Dr A, gave evidence against the killer nurse, who seemed visibly shaken as he made his appearance, even going as far as to try and leave the dock altogether, claiming she felt 'unwell'. Not believing this story, prosecutor Nick Johnson replied: "No, it's because you didn't like hearing your boyfriend giving evidence, did you?"

Hope Baby K parents can get some relief knowing she’s never going to be released but of course it won’t bring their much loved daughter back.
Sentencing Friday I bet she doesn’t appear.

I just wanted to add, as I feel bad about my earlier post. I’ve got the highest respect for nursery nurses. It was NNs that looked after my kids and made sure they thrived at nursery while I was at work. They are highly skilled in their field doing everything from nutrition, to developmental assessments, writing endless reports, making loads of happy memories, SEN provision and even speech and language assessments for mine and countless other kids. They hold a special place in my heart for being in loco parentis and making such a huge contribution to the wellbeing of my kids It’s just that Janet one boils me, I’ve worked with her kind (how I imagine her anyway) and I see her iykwim.

Also, Chester Constabulary advertised again for secondment posts for more detectives and FLOs. The closing date was last month and the ad stated the post is expected to last up to three years. That's until 2027. The budget has obviously been approved for these posts already. That would not happen unless there was a solid line of investigation.
There are clearly more victims and more families of victims to support.

Coincidence, my arse. That's fucking outrageous. And shitty, lazy journalism done without even the tiniest bit of research.

Thank goodness! Justice for Baby K and her family. Perhaps more can be revealed about other investigations and previous findings now the verdict's done with. How could this verdict have been otherwise and how traumatic for baby K's loved ones to have to endure this further ordeal? Letby's last real bit of power and control GONE. Glad for all that the verdict was unanimous and not prolonged.

More on the juror in the cafe saga..

Greater Manchester Police were instructed to identify the sender of the email and were unsuccessful but concluded the email address was new. The sender did not respond with further contact details.

Defence still wanted the juror to be questioned by the court!!!

Our God BNE opposed it, said it had all the hallmarks of someone trying to disrupt the trial, and at that point the jury had been deliberating for 14 days which contradicted the allegation anyway!! (God I love that man)
