Well apparently the author of the said drivel is a RN who's admin of the rexvletby Facebook group. I read it and whilst I can't comment on most of it as I haven't a clue about insulin, what makes me laugh is that RN or not, she's not a specialist and has squit access to any of the medical documents and analysis that the specialists who were involved in trial did so she's pissing in the wind really.

The simps though are literally jizzing their duds over it though claiming that it's what the basis of the request to appeal is about... if those pages told them to carve a L into their fods they would, it's giving proper cult vibes now

So on the 25th it will be at court to decide if they are gonna retry the verdicts that came back undecided.

Letby has put in a request for application to appeal - it can take ages for the request to be heard though so doubt we will hear anything about that for easy a month, and unless its based on irrefutable evidence of any wrong doing to do with trial/trial prep, or some brand new evidence has came to light that the defense wasn't aware of during trial (that's like concrete evidence) then I doubt she will get the request to apply granted.

I wonder if it's the same article that I read on the Nurse Letby Facebook group. If so then it's not relevant. Unless it explains some rare medical condition where the baby produces no insulin of it's own but is full of external insulin and why the problems only started when Lucy hung the first bag and magically resolved after the bag was changed.
It is amazing the absolute rubbish that people post of these groups, they think they know better then the medical experts and are such independent free thinkers when actually two seconds of analysis proves it to whole load of c*ap.

Found the post on the Insulin. They don't understand the biology. The insulin levels should rise and fall with the blood sugar, if the blood sugars falls so should the insulin. When the baby's body makes insulin it has C peptide on the end which it cleaves off. If the baby had made a lot of insulin the C peptide would be high. If the sample was left too long then insulin would not be created, this was said at the trial. The article is the same as the Nurse Letby group about long term genetic conditions.

Just listened to this. It’s a long listen but worth it I think. Dewi Evans speaks imo so genuinely about the case & gives an insight into his life & his experience. I found his explanation of how he set up a neo natal department really interesting. He comes across as a very caring man & one that is not afraid to speak out about the failures of the NHS and also one that is much more experienced & knowledgeable than people give him credit for. I really can’t understand why the pro Letby mob are so intent on discrediting him.

The Facebook mob are saying the interview is cringey & that it’s obvious that Raj Persaud does’t believe him. They must be crazy.

& in other Facebook news… Apparently, Paula Judge ticks more boxes on the ‘female serial killer trait list’ than Lucifer does… That doesn’t really surprise me tbh!

I honestly wouldn’t bother engaging with anyone who is talking about the insulin, they don’t know what they’re talking about. To address a couple of points made in that post:

1. They claim that treatment of “hypoglycemia raises the insulin and suppresses the c-peptide” - this is not true. Endogenous insulin and c-peptide are produced in equimolar concentrations.

2. The suggestions that the test was invalid as the sample was not stored or transported correctly are categorically untrue. A biochemist testified in court that the sample met the guidelines in place to ensure it was transported and stored correctly. There was nothing to indicate it had been incorrectly handled in a way which would cause an invalid result.

3. The idea that 4657 pmol/L is an impossible result or that an insulin plasma level this high would result in certain death is just nonsense. Vincent Marks (insulin specialist who the letby truthers love to quote) actually wrote a paper which included multiple reports of people who had survived insulin overdoses with levels of up to 180,000 pmol/L in their blood. These babies were also in an intensive care setting and were simultaneously receiving glucose which would’ve countered the extremely high insulin.


Realistically, these babies suffered sky high insulin coupled with extremely low c-peptide levels and low blood sugar readings which magically resolved themselves within a very short period of time after the TPN/dextrose infusions were removed. Suggestions that the insulin tests were wrong are ridiculous because if they were incorrect, why would the babies be suffering with extremely low blood glucose levels at the same time? There is no evidence to suggest that either continued to suffer episodes of hypoglycemia since this happened either. I cannot think of any natural pathology which would cause this specific scenario. Letby poisoned those babies.

It wasn't even really debated at the trial that they were poisoned with Insulin as the facts spoke for themselves.
