I have a morbid fear of one of my kids going missing, as I’m sure most parents do, especially now they are old enough to go out without me. My son (who I am convinced has undiagnosed ASD- thanks CAMHS for rejecting 4 referrals from 4 different agencies) went walking with the dog and fell in the river. If it wasn’t for the dog being such a good boy and raising the alarm he would’ve been gone and I might never have known what happened. I wonder how many of the missing have died through misadventure, I always remember that weird story of the man who was found clinging to a buoy in the middle of the sea.

What it does show though is how much material the media has ready to go once verdicts are in, it’s going to be bigger than any of us can even imagine

I don’t think the McCanns were involved in what happened to Maddie, short of being selfish and irresponsible parents leaving their children alone so they could enjoy themselves. It’s quite a point of contention so I’m not going to get into it on here. I’ve already shared my thoughts about what happened to her on the appropriate thread (and been pounced on for it).

I tried to ask it for an ode to finding the wrong Fella but it couldn’t cope, and it refused to put in a reference to creative beef curtain synonyms We need to get a spirit board and ask for Shakespeare instead.

Anyone breaking out into poetry, except the hilarious little limericks we have on here, needs a slap in the face with a massive tuna.I read that as court room man calling his bluff. I don't believe James one bit. And didn't he write a poem about Lucifer the other day. JMO

She knew they were coming I think. If someone banged on my door at 6am and arrested me for murder and I’d done nothing I’d be fucking screaming shouting crying throwing up protesting my innocence. She knows she’s been caught and she knows it’s all over. If anyone says the scapegoat word today they’re getting it
