yes and everyone believes all the medical experts in those cases too when they tell them the injuries were non-accidental.

I appreciate killings in hospital are more complex than injuries caused at home, but there is literally NO OTHER EXPLANATION for the deaths/collapses of these babies. Any poor care has been accepted as sub-optimal but RULED OUT by experts as causing these events.

Some people just want to bend over backwards to speculate and find any other reason to believe she didn’t do it.

I've been absent for a few days my GSD has been poorly but definitely on the mend now, jumping around like a big puppy. I would like to say that I believe in the person that gave the prediction of 10, 10, 10 I believe in you and you might be right that the verdict will be 10/08 2023.
Na night God bless all, justice for the family's and angels the morra 💕❤

Also, with Bev Allitt. I think the worst part of the tapes is actually hearing her belligerent, cocky voice as the interviews go on. And tbh if we get to the point of The Lucy Letby Tapes, it will be the same.

As someone who found this thread late, prosecution closing late (literally one of the biggest regrets ever, I needed you!), this blows my mind that those names were in that camp 🤯
I’ve not watched much yet and I’m not really sure what a serial killer should sound like but she sounds normal what I’ve heard so far. Also I’m shocked she’s eligible for parole! I thought she would have got an WLO.
So did I! I only started listening to the podcast in June then found this thread. Kind of glad in a way as 2 months in and I’m so frustrated waiting for the verdict so god know how you feel who have followed from the start and especially the parents who have waited 8 long years feel!

🤣 probably! Maybe leisure read on the train/ bus/ weekend cup of tea later? X
Im self employed/WFH so let’s just say the last couple of months have been very unproductive 🤣

Plot twist, Dr No gob planted all the handover sheets under her bed whilst they had the plainest sex ever in order to frame her.

Just seen this on Facebook, someone actually talking sense….

In my opinion the people who believe LL is innocent fall into 3 categories:

1) Those who find it so upsetting and beyond their comprehension that a nurse could do such a thing that they just refuse to believe it.

2) This who don’t understand how the evidence works and continue to look at each piece of evidence individually and can therefore dispute it… instead of doing as the judge instructed and putting the pieces together like a jigsaw and using common sense and logic whilst looking at it as a whole.

3) The ones who have often had bad experiences (usually within the nhs) and will defend her to the death using conspiracy theories, illogical manipulative wording, made up defences which sometimes even contradict what she said herself.. throw away mantras eg- scapegoat, sub optimal care etc. They happily ignore all the evidence, all her lies and blatant contradictions on the stand and tell anyone
who believes the evidence how much more knowledgable and superior they are.

And I’m not posting this anonymously because I’m not ashamed of my views

Like Ben Geen is innocent isn’t he despite the sringe used multiple times emptied into his pocket containing the drugs used to poison patients, but Dicky Gill thinks statistics can prove otherwise, I just love these coincidences. Like COME the duck on.

I think you will find your people on Facebook because we are not them. I can’t speak for everyone but the majority of us have been here since the beginning, we’ve argued, we’ve bickered, we’ve laughed together and cried together. We’ve all shared stories, troubles, celebrated the highs and lows and we’ve become an albeit slightly dysfunctional family. We have each others backs and we are all on the guilty side of the fence. We’ve had 10 months of discussions arguments and disagreements and we’re done, we are ready for a verdict now. You are entitled to your opinion of course but to come into a well established thread and start spouting not guilty isn’t going to be well received. We haven’t come for any not guilty thinkers. We’ve stayed within our lane and kept our discussions within this thread. You have stepped onto our turf. If you don’t like what we have to say you know there the door is 🚪 👋
Definitely speaking for me, well said.

The other five babies are simply not relevant to this trial. It’s not reasonable doubt to speculate on something that has not even been presented in court.
I was going to ask you @Tofino whether this information/ report was actually presented at trial or whether those reports were in the public domain (thanks to FOI request) but hadn't been presented at court? Trying to find it on the wiki but can't.

There was a poster who explained the figures and reporting and it was discussed on here some time back, I wish I could actually remember what was said and wouldn't know where to begin to look for those posts.

But like you said Tof this is about the babies named in this case and the copious amount of evidence that's been presented in this trial.

Could anyone help?

Judge Goss will have his reasons for not declaring a majority earlier, I personally think he would’ve known they’d be a juror down soon and didn’t accept a majority vote earlier in case they still didn’t reach a majority, then juror down, majority reached and she’s found G, it could give LL grounds for appeal and he’s used foresight to try and avoid that situation.

Only problem with that is, the difference between 2 thinking NG this week and 2 thinking NG with all 12 jurors is a G verdict and a hung jury.

But really, it’s all speculation as no one but Judge Goss knows why a majority wasn’t called earlier, he’s an experienced judge though and he knows his stuff, so I have faith in that.

Well done @A mega Pint! That’s great going. I’ve been a lazy tit and haven’t got off the couch most of the day.

You should see a noticeable improvement in your fitness levels in 2-3 weeks. Just don’t overdo it! I need to get off my hoop tomorrow. 💞
Thank you so much, that’s really motivating to hear, I’ll keep at it. I did spent a lot of the day on the couch as well raising my bp! 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Good luck getting anything done tomorrow while on verdict watch! 💕💕💕

@Emjaylu If she was just a crap nurse she would've admitted to that instead of making out like she was the only competent one whilst all these babies were collapsing. What about the insulin? Is it the fact the babies recovered so the NG crowd are just gonna brush past that? LL admitted there is no way that could've been done by accident-there was only her and Belinda it could've been and Belinda wasn't there for the other collapses. Then we've got all the collapses minutes after she didn't get her way. And ruining special occasions-wouldn't surprise me if stuff comes out that she had a habit of maliciously doing that when the attention wasn't on her. I can just imagine her as a child throwing a tantrum at another child's birthday party because she was so jealous of someone else getting attention. Be interesting to know what she was like at uni as well. She's an only child, never had to compete with anyone growing up, never had to share anything (or anyone) before, always got her way at home-I'm not having a pop at only children by the way, some of the nicest people I know are onlies, I just think in this case it might be very significant.
I’ve been thinking this, but scared to say as I don’t want to offend only children. I’ve met many lovely ones. But I have met more than a few that are unreasonably sulky and even borderline psycho when they don’t get their own way over relatively small things, it seems to be down to the parenting.

I’m an oldest child and we have our own crappy personality traits too. I think every birth order does. But while listening to more and more info on the case LL has really started to strike me as that type of only child that gives other only children a bad name…

Ok not the fastest way ever but I’ve done this successfully before (and since then I’ve built up such a pile of rit you wouldn’t believe, but that’s another story 😂) - you take a month, 30 days. On day 1 you bin 1 item - can be a wardrobe, can be a paper clip or an old birthday card, size doesn’t matter. Day 2 you get rid of 2 things. Day 3, 3. And so on. By the end of the month you’ve got rid of about 400 things. I get competitive with myself so I spend the day looking for what I can bin tomorrow 😂 old knickers, Tupperware, medicine spoons, trinkets from that holiday 19 years ago - GET IN THE BIN. It becomes addictive 😂
I love this and can see myself getting competitive with myself. I’m starting tomorrow, I defo have a ripped pair of knickers that I somehow always put in and only notice the hike when I’m doing a wee. 🤣🤣🤣🤣That’s going first!!

It’s ok. At first I thought you were being patronising but I have been here and have looked at everything I can - and I’m just not entirely convinced.

Let’s hope we never see anything like this case again because the other 5 babies bother me. There simply isn’t a smoking gun here but a lot of circumstantial evidence, and as I said before, some of those babies collapsed when LL wasn’t on duty so it doesn’t suit to charge her for those cases because she'll be not guilty - which weakens the cases she is charged for.
It absolutely can’t weaken the cases she has been charged for - simply because they were not put before the jury!!!

Oh I'm the queen of decluttering.

Get 3 boxes: Label them Keep, Throw, Charity. And then take one section at a time, even if that means one drawer or one cupboard. Don't try to do too much as it will be overwhelming. If you've not thought about or used something in 6 months then pass it on or whizz it. We keep and accumulate so much over the years and honestly, we don't need it. Also get rid of any repeated items....you're really don't need 7 tin openers 😂
Get everyone involved because it feels so good afterwards.

If you've got a shredder make yourself a nice pile of unneeded paperwork and do it at night as you're sat comfortably watching TV or rip it up and put it into a bowl of warm water, let it soak and when it's maliable squeeze all the water out. It will eventually harden and whatever was typed/written on it will be gone.

I'm a big fan of containers, particularly in the shed. I decant any paint leftovers into a jar and label which room they're from. I have containers for garden items, paintbrushes, screws, nails etc all labelled and stacked neatly.
Brilliant brilliant brilliant advice, definitely another Job title for you there Queen of Decluttering, I do own a shredder but I forget to use it so I end up with huge amounts to get rid of, I DO NOT collect paper, it accumulates!! 🤣🤣🤣, I have a big tub of it niw and I’ll put it in the bath and roll some balls over the coming days, I shall enjoy that! 😆😆😆😆. I like your 3 basket idea, I will do that also. Thank you for all the tips. 💕💕💕

It was said during closing speeches that some of the babies had collapses when LL wasn’t on shift, I distinctly remember BM saying LL would be blamed for them too if she was there, I don’t think it was presented how many collapses/which babies happened in them circumstances though, if it was relevant I’m sure it would’ve been presented for the jurors to scrutinise, and it wasn’t, as far as I’m aware.

I think too many people are focusing on this tbh, when really if it gave LL any defence at all it would’ve been hammered out during the trial.
