I suppose the jury should just now stop beating round the bush and cut to the chase and say " Right who thinks Lucy's a baby serial killer, hands up and who thinks she's an innocent victim of NHS scapegoating?". They can then have a count of hands and deliver the verdict, lock up Letby for life and be in the pub by lunchtime and everyone can attend their appointments next week.
I know it must be hard and traumatising listening to those stories, but you also get loads of time off work, work really short days and have a lot of days off. I'd prefer it to my high-pressure job tbh. I dont have much sympathy for them at all.
I agree, but if until today they’ve been under the pretence that court wouldn’t be sitting next week then cancelling would be unnecessaryBut they’re the jury and should have known in enough time whether to cancel or not
If there’s no verdict today can’t a group of you turn up at court on Monday with a big hat and sunglasses and claim you’re the jurors? Offer a couple of the real ones the opportunity to crack on with their Brazilians or day out at Alton towers and take their spots!

I’m so confused as to what could possibly have given them the idea that court wouldn’t be sitting next week as it doesn’t seem like they are near a verdict? Bonkers.
Those jurors clearly aren't expecting verdicts today as they are talking about not being able to attend court next week.
You lot are so harsh 
no one thought it would still be going on this long! OK I agree with you all if it’s just like a hair appointment or something, but what if it’s a hospital appointment and by rearranging it they’ll have to wait an extra 6 weeks? It’s all become a bit of a tit show but to be honest we have no clue what’s going on. I do feel sorry for them, they’ve had their lives on hold for 10 months now and at the end of the day they’re just normal people doing their best (please don’t come for me 
)

I understand they need appointments and I do feel sorry for the jury its a long time to have your life on hold and commiting to it would be so hard for me but we are at the last stage . Yet 3 of them in one week not seeing the impact this will have on family members of the babies is worrying
But if they’ve not reached a verdict then they should assume court is sitting until big Jizzy G (maybe not) tells them it is or not

I totally get it if it’s say your daughters wedding or you’re starting life saving treatment. Stuff like that is totally understandable and a horrible position to be in.You lot are so harsh
Any hope I had that it would be today has been scuppered. My prediction is they won't be able to cancel their appointments and court won't sit for 3 days. The other two will be catching up on deliberations. I think we have another 2 weeks to go now.

If any of them have a job like mine though they would have still been working around it. I would be stressed to duck at this point, esp with having school age kids. But would also be fully aware it's all in my hands now and crack the duck on with it.
The judge needs to sequester their arses. Lock them up in a hotel each night and don’t let them home for shags or clubbing or anything else till they are DONE
I don’t feel sorry for them really I can’t lie. The main reason it’s gone on this long is the Monday unforeseen circumstances and the fact that after a full week of being in court they need a week off after
I feel sorry for the families that have waited 7 years for answers and had to listen to a plumber try and defend this so called scapegoat that’s killed their children
