I followed this thread from virtually the start as I wanted to follow the trial. It was the only place where people understood that no innocent person would write a note saying ‘I killed them on purpose’. I still struggle to understand how that can be taken any other way. Websleuths can be very good, although in the case of this trial, it seemed that too many people were dismissive of the note despite them all being seemingly intelligent. I think a lot of them were over cautious, rather than being silly FB huns. Reddit was okay but there was a lot of people prepared to believe the scapegoat theory, and a few of them seemed to be embittered NHS employees. Here was the only place with people talking sense, and that goes for the majority of people who initially thought ‘NG’.

Then when the humour went full on I was hooked. You’re a bunch of very smart and very funny people. And if Matalan goes into administration, I think you can take the credit, I mean the blame.

Morning fella’s! Wonder if Lucifer is awake yet and laying in bed looking up at the ceiling and thinking ‘will I lose my freedom forever today?’ So hope so.

I think it’ll be this week - it’s just a case of not watching and waiting for the pot to boil so to speak.

I’ve got an obsession this last few days watching 24 hours in police custody and I really would want to see the investigation behind the scenes capturing Lucifer and what she was like in interviews. Wonder if she started with a ‘no comment’

Poor jurors. So much to remember and they are seemingly lacking key pieces of information which would help them. I just don’t understand why those would be omitted.

What if the 30,000 pieces of evidence is just LL’s little paper collection?

The fact that they’re all still there, all 12 of them, in spite of anything else says to me that they’re serious about it. There will have been opportunities to proceed with less but they chose to turn up. We just have to be patient and what will be will be.

There were so many gaps in reporting especially earlier in the trial, I’m not surprised we’ve missed some but that’s a lot! I wonder what else we’ve missed hearing about because there were no reporters reporting on those days.

People who like there jobs…what do you do?! I am so bored in my part-time job right now but a bit stuck as the pension and benefits are really good and its soo flexible with a young family. My motivation is 0 though

I am a teacher in a special educational needs school, mainly kids who have autism and/or ADHD. I absolutely adore my job and it’s the best SEN school around imo. I’ve got 6 weeks off at the moment and I already miss them all and can’t wait to go back.

Oh I’m naive so you’re not even allowed to say what trial you’re on? As you say though with the length of time off people would perhaps check. I’d want to offload a little but my husband would forget I’ve told him not to say anything so couldn’t risk it

I'm not sure to be honest! I don't know if you're allowed to say anything at all. I'd be scared of Alexa listening in and ringing the judge or something (I'm a tad dramatic).
