Yeah the trial is one year 2015-2016 and this was 2014 but Operation Hummingbird are still investigating so these parents should still be protected.

Dr NN was on the ward later but still it shows a lot of other things are going to come out…

The article shows a different solicitors that the parents had at the start too.

I really hope that the parents aren’t being hounded

Agreed, I am impatient to know what else is known about LL and the entire history of everything.

Sadly that link I posted makes me think they are being hounded - I know someone who lost their baby in another (entirely separate, different part of the country) hospital scandal a few years ago, and they were. It’s horrible.

NN had been on the wards previously, and then returned, so could fit the locum issue. Not sure if he was a locum though, or on rotation.

There’s also a lady on Reddit that went to court and was told something too that made her 100% sure of her guilt. Wonder if any of it is the same info or if it is all different! Hopefully the Reddit lady will spill the 🫖

after the trial ends as well - maybe she needs to come to Tattle…

Just watched the Alitt tapes. A woman said that the public latched onto the Munchausen by proxy theory as they wanted to spot it if it ever happened again. Well it wasn't clearly spotted was it? So much evil.
Alitt happened in 1991. I was 11 but have not heard of the case until letby. Was it on the news a lot? Those that are my age and above do you remember ? I clearly remember the Rachel Nickell murder which was just the year after. My Dad had the news on all of the time. We still joke that its his favourite programme. It's strange what we remember.

I wonder if letby was smiling looking out of the police van windows loving the attention like Alitt. Don't know but pure speculation that wouldn't fit her meak persona.

I was 5 in 1991, but I've known about Allitt for some years. I don't know where from, perhaps it was heavily discussed at home or I've just watched *that* many true crime documentaries.

This is the bit that always gets me from her case. Those poor parents were just absolutely taken in by her.

Allitt had a big baying crowd when she was in the van and press there I think so she would have been loving it. Letby wouldn’t have had any of that. It was six in the morning and she was in her ~~best Lee Cooper~~ nightie

I personally think that she looks like she’s hiding a smirk in the photos where she’s coming out the police station looking like the weird person she truly is.

this one. I think there’s a smirk and enjoyment personally. Certainly not distressed. NJ even said to her you’re getting a lot of attention now aren’t you. She’s enjoying every bit imo.

I was wondering if he might possibly have been a registrar- they rotate around and are still classed as doctors.

It’s amazing how different she looks there. I know people can sometimes age very fast but it’s interesting how her expression better matched her temperament by that point.

I've had some very sad news tonight that one of my closest friends has died, this is totally out of the blue as they weren't ill. I can't quite believe it and can't process it just now. She is such a lovely person and would do anything for you. There's a truth in the good die young.
