Oh please please tell me about your Parrot

Oh he is beautiful Della, just kind of ended up with him as his owner died and the family were looking for a new home for him.

He is an Amazon and a right feisty little fucker but when he is in a cuddle mood he sticks to me like velcro .

Absolutely love him, he smells sooooo good .

Twat at night though he will not go into his cage for bed so end up having a bit of a stand off with him (he has bit me ).

He needs some training and to get on a better diet because he is a chunky little pigeon but letting him settle first.

He is obsessed with my daughter (17) and the second he hears her voice he HAS to find her and stomps around whistling for her .

House felt so lonely after we lost our dog and I wasn't quite ready for another pet but he kind of needed a home and I wanted to give him some stability.

So funny to walk in and hear him chatting away.

Is anyone still on the facebook group? I just saw a post of a lady it included a picture of her baby in an incubator and a screen shot of a Facebook status and said something a long the lines of L cared for her baby and she was convinced she was up to something and even writ a status about how she felt her baby wasn’t being looked after properly as her nurse was regularly in corridors on her phone, running off or delaying when the mum could feed. My Facebook crashed and I cannot see it anymore. If anyone can find it can you post here please as I would like to finish reading

Speaking of Dickie Gill, he's having a totally normal one tonight.

He seems to be suggesting that Ben Myers, one of the top criminal law KCs in the country, is incompetent and hasn't challenged the expert witnesses- I must have been mistaken when I heard him ripping into Drs Evans and Bohin. Him and that green haired goblin are gonna implode if/when she is convicted

Is this to go and rescue her? Or because he has that much anger towards everyone in court, including the defence.

From how his comments have escalated over the weeks I think there is some element of truth in that tweet. Not that he would necessarily do it (I hope!) but that he feels that enraged by this entire trial. Scary.

Have people heard the podcast? Seen this extract from it on Websleuths - We'll outline his [the judge's] reminder that although experts were instructed for both the prosecution and the defence, only the prosecution called their experts to give evidence.

I think another poster and I were saying this about expert witnesses, that it seemed like the defence had indeed consulted experts to put forward alternatives but didn't bring them to the stand (as they don't have to). And I thought it was likely because their experts wouldn't have been able to conclusively defend their alternatives under cross examination - i.e it was just theories, not based on any scientific evidence unlike the prosecution experts. I think this is going to be huge for the jury when assessing the expert evidence!

I'm keeping an ear out for news while browsing amazon prime day. Some not too bad bargains to be had.
Question for everyone though. Can you cuddle and hold a 7wk old baby too much? Some family members (and Mr Caledonian at times ) seem to think I hold mini Caledonian too much and should put him down... My argument is that he's tiny and I'll never get this time again as having no more kids.

You absolutely cannot cuddle a baby too much. So much evidence now that it supports their development and makes for a happier adult.

Just had the notification that the latest podcast ep is out - ‘The Jury Retires’. I feel so emotional!

The jury are back for this one and have found his mother Claire Scanlon GUILTY of MURDER! So they didn’t buy she had diminished responsibility!
