But that's the thing unless your in a field that handles vulnerable potentially very sick children you wouldn't have a need to write that.I don’t doubt that I would have been awful if she were innocent & it would have been horrendous for her mental health.
I too have suffered with my mental health & have had some horrendous thoughts etc but I just can’t imagine ever writing down that I killed babies on purpose?
Even if I was going through a mental break after being accused? Because why would I write that if I was innocent?![]()
I wonder what sort of picture these twitter twats would like instead. One of her in a witches Halloween costume. One of her drinking a can of cider and doing a peace sign or maybe in a Michael Myers costumeI know there has been some debate of the relevance or otherwise of her looks/skin colour.
Which I won't add to except to say I ventured onto Twitter (a mistake) in which people are complaining that the press shouldn't be using an innocent looking picture for her. One has even written to the BBC to complain.
Lots to unpick there but I'll suffice by saying, maybe they are hoping for something like this instead?
Sorry not quite caught up yet but yes I thought this. Currently swaying towards guilty but IF shes innocent and she’s been moved to admin and she’s having a breakdown she could be very paranoid and writing down all the things on her mind that people were believing about her and saying to get it out of her head.Completely playing devil's advocate here, but could we be reading someone's mental demise. Not so much a final goodbye note but certainly something written during a complete breakdown.
Anyone who has been close to that point will understand the levels of blame and self hating you suffercate yourself in.
Those notes were written after she knew she was being investigated for multiple deaths.
Even the accusation would have tipped me over the edge.
If she guilty throw the book at her, but if she isn't think of how mentally fucked you'd be after being accused of the vicious crimes she's been and nothing you were saying was believed?
I will suggest at the end of the trial we will hear about disturbing behaviours from her, stuff that cannot be reported prior due to restrictions, and ensuring she gets a fair and unbiased trial.Harold Shipman has this mentality... believed he was doing superior work, he was a rubbish doctor but finally found some power believing he was putting people out of their misery. But there was a backstory with him that made his evilness more tangible, that lead him to what he did... Not that I’m excusing how evil he was! Letby doesn’t seem to have any of that? Correct me someone if I am wrong? But it’s like she just woke up one day, if she is guilty, and decided to start killing babies?
Exactly, babies "who had not been unstable at all" or "on the mend", "suddenly deteriorated", "for no reason at all".You can still be in the NICU and be pretty certain your baby will be coming home (obviously no one can be 100% certain) but it seems these babies were doing very well despite everything going on and the deaths were not expected. I also think some of these babies need more credit yes there is always set backs but a lot of babies these days will come out the other side and just need some extra help so to keep loosing babies one after the other is a bit strange regardless of if she is innocent or not
It means after his brother (child O 0 died. I had to read it twice. The final feed she gave Child O was after he died?? Am I reading that correctly? Surely her documentation is false.
I mean…… let’s see how this one is explained 🫠🫠🫠 I’ll wait.Oh my god the end of their opening statement - post it notes found in her house saying ‘I’m evil I did this’ ‘I killed them on purpose’
This is so upsetting
I do this too and because I'm neurodiverse I remember names and dates that others definitely wouldn't.The Facebook searching thing doesn’t make her guilty. I often search people on Facebook. Randomers I might meet. School parents, people in the news. Guess it’s a nosey kind of thing I dunno. Hard to know if she’s guilty I’m not quite sure on this one.
Which I totally agree with however that doesn’t mean she can’t also be a murderer????Straight in with comments the hospital too should be held accountable
I'm working, so really far behind today. But literally, the defence doesn't need to say very much, just enough doubt. Defence could waffle on, but there's no point because after this, prosecution will start their case and jury will forget everything defence has just said. Short, sweet and straight to the point. Ultimately the point the defence was making is that, there's no solid proof that LL was involved. So the prosecution have had 2 independent medical experts in court whilst going through their opening statement, they are in the DM pictured arriving in Court today. But the defence, so far anyway, don't have any medical experts for their opening statements, that I am reading anyway?
If this is true and the prosecution can’t prove firmly that LL came into contact with that bag then I think their case is weakened.I have to disagree with this. I don't think it comes across as his opinion. He's asking propr questions and has probably had experts help him with his preparing
So who DID it come into contact with?
It looks to me likethe first word is definitely “they” imo, but i can’t make the second one out at all. looks like it starts with an i?
edit: actually, the second word looks like “can’t” to me - there appears to be an apostrophe. that doesn’t really fit with the rest though, but it’s such an agitated note that it’s hard to know what links to what in places.
