Hearing this again sounds so sinister now. “luck of the draw and element of fate” ~ does she mean for the babies, depending on which room she was allocated to

I do think she was playing some sick game of who would survive and who wouldn’t from her saying those things, but who actually knows what was going on in her twisted mind. Deffo very sinister her saying luck of the draw and it’s an element of fate, when in fact it was neither of these things, it was her deciding who would live and who would die. But then by Baby I that logic wouldn’t still apply I guess, as she went after Baby I four times and was successful on the fourth attempt, so very deliberate and no element of fate there

It's probably 'her' sitting in her cell trying to wind everyone up. I wouldn't be surprised if she's snatched a phone up her fandango or done 'favours' for one coz she's that snidey and evil

I just had a look back and it was the same day the consultant apologised to the parents for advising not to do the PM. There was no live reporting from CS and it was only Andy Gill tweeting and later Judith joined in. It only got mentioned a couple of times on the thread but it came from someone seeing it on Facebook so it didn’t really stick here

It’s so weird looking back at an old thread. It’s been a loooong time.

Also as much as we all know Norris is a LL super fan and basically just a gob (not hob nobs) and his rantings are literally a pile of a bit like the looper from twitter actually, I really don’t think we should mention him at all on here. He’s obvs an attention seeker (obvs takes after his hero LL) and by even mentioning we are giving him what he wants. I know he’s absolutely ridiculous and people want to show how stupid his latest claims are, like the Twitter loon when she comes out with her latest mental claim, but I really don’t think we should acknowledge either of them anymore no matter what rubbish they post. I also worry about him being in court so much, especially after the OH warning the other day, imagine how awful at this stage it would be if there was a mistrial

Exactly and looking at his post on that group, he just loves an argument. Every time someone disagrees with him he is patronising and passive-aggressive, belittling everyone who disagrees with him. Not a nice chap at all and well worth a swerve.

Its literally impossible for her to be on anything else. It has been stated by her defence, and by letby herself that she is taking anti depressants which have been prescribed by a GP.

A GP is not allowed to prescribe anything other than SSRIs, other than mirtazapine, which can make you drowsy the next day at first but this effect wears off after a couple of weeks.

Is this a relatively new thing? Because I've previously been prescribed SNRIs and Tricyclics by GPs.

Not that I think whatever she's on is relevant to her defence

ETA I've just realised this was 20 years ago, and in Chester, that I was prescribed these antidepressants

Sooooo… on Friday she was speaking as little as possible and as short of answers as she could, and she crumbled. Today she was she same but she was pissed off, she was arrogant, snappy and verging on rude. She’s so self assured, almost cocky. She has a lovely accent but today she was fighting. IMO she was pissed about Friday and came back fighting. She blinks unbelievably fast when answering anything too I noticed it on Friday but it seemed even MORE today! She seemed irritated every single time she had to turn to a page, or open another file (which btw are hugeeeeeee some arch lever a4, and another one is shorter but the widest file I’ve ever seen. IMO she showed her true colours today, it’s all got to her and she was not happy about it. The prosecution as always was calm, polite and lovely with her but still made his points. I was surprised they didn’t bring up baby Es mum saying she heard the scream, and that it’s directly the mums word vs LL. It was a long day and at times hard to follow, I’m going to read the live feeds from today to digest it all and I’ll be back

I can tell by what you have said that she stewed and ruminated over it since she was last in the stand, I believe in a day or two she will be in a heap again because it is just not possible as a human being to keep composed when under the the kind of pressure our BNK (mark 2) is putting her under. He really frustrates me because he talks down about people making their own conclusions based on the evidence when he, quite clearly, thinks she’s innocent. You’re no better than anyone else hun

Same here. I’m watching closely because I want understand how this has happened and see justice done. Then something is mentioned that brings the focus back to the victims. How defenceless and innocent they were, some in their first few hours of life. It’s horrific. My babies have all been huge but I remember when my oldest was born (9lb6) and my heart literally ached for how tiny and vulnerable he was to me. I remember the first time I clipped his nails and I cried for 45 minutes because I cut one --- and hurt him. This was over 18 years ago and I still feel ick about it. It’s incomprehensible to most of us how anybody could deliberately harm these babies.

I hear you so much, I had twins early who spent time in NICU, their combined weight was 8lbs 12 Oz, they were so tiny and fragile but perfectly healthy, they just needed a little time, even though one was considerably smaller than the other, I was afraid to change their nappies through the incubator windows initially as I was afraid I would hurt them, my husband did it while I watched, that’s the difference between normal people like all of us and that thing!! 🥲🥲🥲
