End of July the Judge said today
July apparently.
I think LL was previously seen as the rising star, in her own head at least, what with stuff like her being the poster girl for that charity thing and her immense "dedication" to her work. SE was ruining this perception so she had to be brought down a peg or two
Am I misunderstanding whats happening here, is she not contradicting herself again? She doesn't remember but admits the event was memorable?
Yes thought exactly the same thing! She harps on about babies dying staying with you forever but she couldn’t recall baby C in police interview?! She had to be reminded.

End of July! Ah well more time in Prison. It'll be what, 2 years 8 months remand by then. Better get used to it!
Oh goodness. What must it feel like to be Baby Cs parents and hear that that vengeful witch 'sabotaged' their precious baby. Those babies were subhuman to her weren't they, just collateral damage that she could use to take out her anger and spite on. This is awful.
I'm on page 37 and just reading about Baby A and B's Dad has broken me.

Todays been vile, I can’t stop thinking about them babies, the thought of the parents worrying and reassuring themselves that the babies are in safe hands and they’ll be looked after. Those poor nurses who worked with her being thrown under the bus by that evil monstrous waste of oxygen
I didn't get to go today unfortunately, my appointment over ran and I'd have only been there for an hour so didn't bother. Seems like a pretty shocking day, she's not come across well reading the reporting.
I did wonder if the jury get a holiday as such and that's why it's been extended to July? They've basically had a full time job with it. Are there rules that say the trial is X long and there will be a week off here?

Baby C is always one that's stuck with me throughout this trial. The little girl with severe CP as well. Another baby towards the end ended up with CP as well I'm sure? What a nasty thing to leave a baby with. My boy is 'only' mild and he has his struggles but couldn't imagine it being caused by someone on purpose wtf??
I can't understand it either. I looked at Reddit last night and noticed the same but I really thought now that she's chosen to take the stand and NJ is managing to uncover so many lies and ridiculous inconsistencies the opinions on Reddit would change. He quite rightly brought up the paperwork she had taken home which revealed so much about her disregard for policies and disregard for the families saying the paperwork wasn't important and her ability to lie quite freely. Since questioning her about the paperwork he appears to be questioning her about each baby starting with baby A and this is highlighting so much more about her and her consistent lying, blaming others or not remembering when it suits as well as some strange behaviours. I don't know what more he can do.reddit seem to think NJ has been so focussed on the handover notes ‘because it’s all he’s got’. I don’t think they have a critical thinking cell between them.
not all of Reddit but I find the NG/innocent type comments get the most upvotes. I feel like the hierarchy is (from NG to G) Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, tattleit does concern me how many think she’s innocent. Just have to assure myself the jury are there, with more evidence available to them than anyone online and witnessing what we are seeing first hand.
In my time on NICU, I didn't once see a staff members phone because they didn't have time to even eat their food on a break, let alone constantly text.
On the children's ward, a nurse showed me a picture of her children on her phone because we spoke about ginger hair and that was the only time I saw a phone.
1 week in NICU, 13 days in the children's ward.
Oh lawd. Someone on the FB discussion group has just tried to use her PTSD as an excuse for her selective memory. Fml

Some of this stuff wasn’t originally brought up in prosecution was it? I mean, we seem to be getting new tidbits of information (or it just wasn’t deemed important enough to report at the time). Now she’s stuck herself on the stand, it’s opened up a whole can of worms for her. Massive own goal.
Some people have already alluded to this, but the swipe data was a concern for me during defence. But we know that after being injected with air or over feeding, it doesn’t always cause the crash right away does it? It’s not impossible is it that Letby hurt the babies, left the unit way before it triggered any sort of alarm and conveniently swiped back in 10 minutes afterwards? She’d done enough by that time she would know how long the babies took to crash.

If we mistakenly logged electronic
notes against the wrong patients name, it can happen, we could email with all the relevant information (with CHI, patient identifying numbers) a department who would rectify the mistake, after ensuring all details were now correct. Some administrative functions were above our level.
Completing an electronic note meant you couldn’t re-edit. ‘Keeping it open’ meant you could record a care and save but not complete the note so could continue to edit until you had completed it.
