They'll still cross examine any defence witnesses they want, including LL, they just won't present their own evidence.

Questioning from your own barrister is called examination in chief, they can’t ask leading questions and essentially they talk about what has happened factually (their version of events) with their counsel guiding them through it, with questions that need an explanation. The other side will then cross examine using leading questions (think more yes/no type answers). Once you’ve been cross examined your barrister can then re examine you if they want to clarify any additional points raised during cross examination

I can’t imagine they’ll ask her any of that though, that’ll be what she’s cross examined on. If her own barrister trips her up they’ve done something very wrong! i’ve been pissing about on tattle and said i’d get up at 10am to put some washing in and now its 10:04, looks like i’ll have to wait till 10 past
The defence have essentially had that as their normalisation of her behaviour though, he raised the point that she took 257 and referenced that that meant lots weren’t babies in the case. And about the searches he raised with the digital analysis person that she searched loads of people. So I very much doubt it’ll play out how I phrased it there
but that has kinda been the defence of those behaviours all the way along.Imagine if she didn’t take the stand after all of this?

Haha in that case they might ask her about it, but in a way that supports their case. E.g accidentally took handover sheets, but not relating to this case, that she’s searched loads of people because she wants to see how they’re getting on. The problem with asking about that though is doing it in a way that doesn’t trip her up, unless she’s happy to say “I was just being nosy” in which case no doubt the prosecution will ask why she didn’t say that in police interview.
