It's not even hidden! What was she thinking when she told police she didn't know how to dispose of the 200+ handover sheets?
I’d like to know why some were in a box marked keep! They must have pointed these things out to her. She’s presumably seeing that shredder every time she’s hanging a pink hoody to dry.
Just totally inconceivable to me that she is predicting a police investigation and no normal life in July 2016 just after being redeployed when everybody had sugar coated the whole thing for her. Utter nonsense.

The thing is, she did some FB searches strategically - i.e. on the anniversary of one baby's death, and on Xmas Day, etc. If she was just fishing for information or potential accusations, then there's no reason for her to assume they'll only be made on anniversaries & Xmas.
Also, immature as LL is emotionally (judging by the drivel on her personal notes), she is intelligent enough to know that if a parent suspected malpractice, then they'd complain through the proper channels; and if they'd suspected criminal behaviour, then they'd go straight to police -- they wouldn't post that on FB.

Up until a month ago, I was convinced she was a twisted person who got pleasure from hearing the outpour of grief that parents wrote on FB about losing their babies. Her awkward behaviour bathing the dead baby and telling the baby's mum how he'd smiled & loved his first bath felt like a calculated attempt at twisting the knife.

However, reading the comments posters have made here, I've since changed my mind & agree that she's attention-seeking more than anything else. That doesn't mean she's not twisted and doesn't enjoy seeing others suffer, but I think that on the whole she enjoys attention and validation from others more than anything else. This I think is her main motive, so perhaps she was looking at FB to see if parents had said anything kind about her and how brilliant she was caring for their babies.
I am reading " it's all in your head, stories from the front line of psychosomatic illness". In it the author writes sympathetically about munchausen or fictitious disorder, where the affected person manufactures illness because they need attention and support and they cannot control their behaviour. It says suffers can cause themselves and other great harm. I read this and thought of this case and how sad it was that she wasn't stopped sooner. Maybe if she has mauchausen's she'll enjoy the attention of court.

I have a cheeky question and if it was possible for me to put it to her I'd stand in front of her, I'd pull my spectacles to the end of my nose and eyeball the witch over the rim. Then I'd clear my throat and in my best voice (think Vera Duckworth crossed with Joanna Lumley) I'd simply say:

Ms Letby the court (tattle) wants to know about your involvement with Dr Noname and if you did, indeed, put your gums around his plums?

I wonder whether she photographed her words in the sympathy card in part so that she could regurgitate them in future cards too 😢

She may also try to say that ward was understaffed, under-equipped & they didn’t have the capacity to care for some of the sicker/younger babies. She brought that up a lot in police interviews & BM has used that argument in cross-examining some of the prosecution witnesses, so I’m guessing that’ll be where BM lays the blame. The insulin cases are anomalies so let’s see how he tries to sidestep those.
KC NJ If the ward was so understaffed why then were you on WhatsApp or Facebook messenger for large periods of your shifts.

The ones marked keep were found in her room at her parents house, which brings up all sorts of questions. Why are the 5 handover sheets found there so significant? None of them include babies in this indictment.

I'm thinking that she may have used the shredder box for packing when moving? That's why it was marked keep, and was later filled with the handover sheets, seems a bit weird otherwise to mark those as keep when she had kept them all anyway. Looking forward to her taking the stand tomorrow if she does.

ETA, also wondering if she is maybe on the spectrum that could explain some of the emotional immaturity and she seems to not be great at relating to other people. Not that this would have caused her to kill babies obvs, but could explain some of her mannerisms we have seen.

Well this is a bit awkward.

I was being funny and sarcastic (in equal measure). I wouldn't be seen dead in Matalan underwear. Let alone full briefs with lace.

My deepest sympathies are with your husband and your matalan clad tina 🙏🙏🙏

It could be worse, could be my husband. I only wear Sloggi briefs these days 😂 life is too short for uncomfortable underwear

Podcast 18min39seconds in. LL in police interview seems to say “I was there, for all of these babies” to a question about why she was so worried IN JULY 2016. So how would an innocent person, in July 2016, know the extend of the list of the babies? They wouldn’t, no one knew except the perpetrator. Police weren’t aware in July 2016.

Just listened to the podcast - god she’s slippery.
She churns out the same answers just slightly differently to every question.

oh F me. Her trying to explain away “The” post-it note. Gives me the cringe. (Almost as bad as Savannah Brockhill trying to explain away the CCTV of her beating poor Star in the car).
Not getting to have children …why would you think that…because of being redeployed. Get F’d!!! She knew she was busted when they found that confession note and blabbed the first thing that came into her messed up head.

I have such a wonderful visual of Vera Duckworth doing this, quite incredible 🤣🤣🤣

I think this kind of answers the question over other collapses / deaths not on the indictment and was she around for those too?

She’s saying herself she was worried in July 2016 because she was there for all of those babies. So the others were either a natural cause known and expected or she was involved with more than these 17 but just not yet charged, possibly due to the indictment guidelines I shared the other day.

I was thinking what if you could ask her one question on the stand what would it be?
The obvious one is why but as she’s not going to admit to anything that’s pointless.
So my question to her would be, there was 2 babies poisoned with insulin, how do you think that happened?
i would be curious to see if she blamed anyone in particular or just said she has no idea and not her.
Anyone else got any better questions!
Mine would be totally off the topic of baby murdering and more for gossip.

"So you and Dr Noname. Did you bang?"

I’d like to know..
If the unit was so poorly managed, so short of staff, the skill set was so poor, it was cramped and poor to work in…that you feel it could have contributed to the poor outcomes for these babies..
Why were you overly willing to work nights? Why were you not raising such serious concerns at the time, especially as so often it was babies you had dealt with that were having problems? Why were you not looking to work somewhere else? Why was it the end of the world to no longer work on a unit that was so poor it had caused the deaths of healthy babies?

Is anyone else feeling a bit anxious for the defence tomorrow.

I've been reading here on and off since October last year, I remember seeing it in the news about a week before I had my baby who needed NICU care. In fact, it's the first case I've really followed in depth.

Hearing all these stories of these poor babies who deserved to be here has often broken my heart. Reading how BM has questioned those families has been even worse, especially when he has tried to insinuate they can't remember times (trust me, you remember and I wasn't even expressing breast milk).

I can feel she's guilty, but there is a small part of me that is worried these families won't get justice.

Just my take on it with as have a lot of experience within my family and also myself but I don't think she's on the spectrum. We have very little to go on really but some of the things we have seen or do know is just completely the opposite of my experience. However she may well be as like I said not much to go on. I hope she isn't though as the defence will use it to try to explain away all her questionable interactions
