Exactly what I thought. The notes from work, the absolutely batshit ones, were doodles. That’s the inner working of her mind! That’s who she is. A dichotomy of hun and psychopath.
The notes of babies in the diary excuse is utter horseshit too View attachment 2131030
‘A dichotomy of hun and psychopath’ should be the name of the Netflix series 🌟

The case being chucked out at half time is laughable in this instance. It’s just not going to happen.
I have had 2 bars of WiFi since early afternoon and I must admit as @DellaC said upthread I do feel teary….. Wtf has all this been for ? This is unspeakable wickedness.
I do think she may take the stand in her defence now and she will unravel.
Long time lurker here, you guys are all amazing.

Something occurred to me yesterday that really hit home the horror of what she's done. When you're talking about evil female killers, Myra Hindley is the go to as most evil/murderous. Letby is worse than Hindley. And that's some yardstick.

(I'm in the "guilty" camp, I'm not ginger but my Mum is. My sister shops at Matalan and likes beige).

Wow that charts showing whose on shift, it couldn’t be any clearer really there. Nobody is even close.
Even if she was doing so many extra shifts it’s amazing that she’s on every single time
Coincidence or bad luck ? I think neither.

The key point for me over and over again is that there is NO concern from her what so ever.

- What the Hell is happening on the ward.
- Something is not right.
- Who is responsible for this?
-We NEED to get to the bottom of this.

Never seen any concern like the above from her, because she knows the answers … and they all point to her!
Not only is there no concern from her whatsoever, if anything it should have been her noticing and raising the concerns before anyone else. All of the collapses happened during her shifts so if she had been innocent surely she was best placed to first notice something wasn’t right? All the others who’ve raised concerns are only there for a few of the collapses but they’ve all noticed. Why hadn’t the nurse who’s there for all 22 noticed something is wrong?

Guilty AF.

If I was a parent I think I would actually want her to take the stand and hear what she has to say. And see her be grilled by prosecution. Like some of them had to take the stand and be questioned by defence. She’s put them through this trial, I would think she was a coward if she didn’t take the stand. Just like those convicted who refuse to come up for sentencing.

I wonder if all parents believe she’s guilty.

My husbands friends twins were born at 24 weeks and both came home today, obviously it wasn’t with struggles but seeing the pictures of how teeny they were and came home with the right care really put into perspective how these deaths are not normal

I think at this stage, the only way I could ever find LL not guilty of all of this would be; (get a brew and sit down); if they proved the shift rota was all wrong (another nurse was in fact there all those 20 odd times), the umpteen contemporaneous obs notes were found to be all falsified/wrong and it was another nurse there right before each collapse, the swipe data was found to be incorrect, the X-ray machine was faulty and there was in fact no air in all these sets of tummies and bowels, the radiographer got it all wrong on that basis. The damaged liver wasn’t damaged but was found to be dropped during PM. The blood insulin result was wrong. The insulin vial batches were actually just mislabelled from the pharmaceutical company and were in fact just saline so innocent so no increased order for 2015. That, or, someone admitted to running with a syringe of insulin, at least three times, and fell into a couple of bags of the saline/TPN but at an angle that coincided with the septa points so as to not pierce the bags. That was all an accident but they’ve only just come forward to admit it. The diary entries were initials of other people. The post it notes were the basis of a new novel she was working on. The handover sheets were planted by the nurse who was really on duty on every collapse.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people wanting to be sure that she’s guilty, every single persons brain works differently. As people have said 1000 times, none of us are on the jury, it really doesn’t matter what we think. I can completely see people like @avabella and @Daisydunn15 ’s POV despite the fact that I’m like 99.9% sure Letby is guilty personally.
Thank you for the tag and your comment!

I’ve been trying to think of a way to explain how my brain works and why I feel the need to also hear the defence.

I’ve heard people comparing evidence to the context and in one example, the fact that Wayne Couzens bought rubbish bags from BnQ which in itself was innocent until the rest of the evidence was put together. That’s how I feel about the prosecution. On the surface, the evidence they present absolutely can point to solid guilt, but being the prosecution, there’s no context.

I’ve got texts on my phone saying ‘god I could kill the kids today they’re doing my head in’. If that’s the only text of mine you ever read, you’d make a decision about me based on that. If you read through my whole phone, a much bigger picture is painted. I feel like I only have the grey shades of a picture at the moment, and I need the rest of the colours to reveal the whole picture.
So it’s not about knee jerk reaction, or wanting her to be innocent in any way, it’s about recognising there are 3 sides to every story and actually, we’ve only heard 1 🤨

Omg didn’t know how to dispose of them but had a shredder sitting in the corner of her room. She’s absolutely fucked herself in these interviews and I’m here for it 🤣
She took them and put them in a folder 🤪🤪

Really not sure how the part about the handovers can be remotely believable? Or the lack of knowledge about air embolism which again was a total lie, not just because of the course but her suggesting it as a possible? And no significance that this training was around a week before baby A, which is probably the most obvious in terms of air embolism? Or thinking you wouldn’t have kids or people think you’re “evil” because you’ve been redeployed.
I honestly think, to put an innocent spin on those answers, you’ve got to be wanting to believe she could be innocent.

Again, the idea that Dr. Evans just kept on working hard to make things ‘fit’ for prosecution is beyond believable to me.
It relies on the prior multiple internal investigations (with colleagues from Liverpool womens), the active desire by higher level staff to find out what was causing things, the two robust external investigations, all failing to find or spot why these babies died in such unexpected and sudden circumstances (this isn’t denied by Letby). Then all the witness accounts match up (many that say they have never seen things like this before or since), the forensics match up and at no point anyone has the moral compass to say, we’re all stitching up this innocent young woman guys. Dr. Evans has to be peer reviewed by other people keen to just make it fit as well. It’s of no significance that baby a, o and p all have very suspect/inconclusive post-mortem findings as well. It’s of no significance that babies were poisoned by bags she hung. It’s just so so far fetched to think all of this played into Dr. Evans hands as some kind of master plan to propel him into the spotlight. I would bet he probably regrets taking it all on!
