You’d be worried about getting sacked if you thought your competency in the workplace was bein questioned, not arrested 🤔

If I was BM no way would I be letting LL take the stand after these police interviews. She'll go and say some shite like she never actually worked in Chester.

PTSD from being arrested? Oh, poor Lucy. I wonder what the parents of her victims, or the survivors of her attacks, or the innocent people who worked alongside her have been diagnosed with since 2016? More than PTSD and being sensitive to noises I expect.

Cunt.

The key point for me over and over again is that there is NO concern from her what so ever.

- What the Hell is happening on the ward.
- Something is not right.
- Who is responsible for this?
-We NEED to get to the bottom of this.

Never seen any concern like the above from her, because she knows the answers … and they all point to her!

Lucy's been caught in a huge lie.

She barely takes handover notes home. Except for the 200+ she took home. But she didn't know how to get rid of those and didn't own a shredder. Except for the shredder in the other room, which has bank statements in - which will have her name on and dates they were sent, so they'll know they have been shredded by her after that date.

She could have said she kept bringing the handovers home by mistake and has kept them to use in her grievance procedure. She could have said she intended to return to them to the hospital for proper destruction. But she did the most blatant, silliest lie.

Game over.

I would seriously drive down from Scotland to be in court...but not turning up to get my kids from school because I was in another country watching a baby killer take the stand would defo get me on some sort of watch list.

this is an interesting choice of words. So she thinks someone else harmed them? What makes her think that?

she has given herself away SO much in these interviews today.

So she was good at grassing her colleagues up for making mistakes but heaven forbid she be questioned about her own competency?

I think her comments in the police interviews around the handover sheets/not knowing how to dispose of them (when there’s a bloody shredder in her spare room) has sealed it for me. Blatant lies.

Not to mention the lies around not knowing much about air embolism when she’d just done a course covering it a mere month before Baby A is murdered via air embolism (under her care). 🧐

Wow. What a shocker that it’s Noname that’s the doctor there for seven events 👀
Trigger. Motive. Lies. Absolutely everything tied up I’d say.
I bet they are the later 7 too. Totally a secondary gain, his unwavering attention after each incident. What a thing to live with.

I don't know why but I've had a massive wave of emotion. So I'm having a little cry.

Feel free to pull up a pew and join me 💙🩷
I’m not crying because I have a heart of stone. But I’m feeling quite proud of Johnson & co today. They’ve done a phenomenal job presenting one of the most complex cases they’ll probably ever have to prosecute in their entire careers.

Didn’t know how to dispose of them????
BULLSHIT!!!!!!!! 💩 whether she had a shredder or not!!!

honestly this is just wrapping up all the evidence we’ve heard nicely. It was really important to hear her responses. She’s got some balls trying to talk her way out of it but I’m not buying it at all. Too many holes and actions that are unreasonable.

Thinking about that insane answer about never meeting anyone because she’d been redeployed..
it doesn’t just show she’s lying. It shows she knows NOTHING about human relationships imo. If she thinks that’s a believable scenario, she doesn’t ‘get’ how people work and real emotion. Which is a vibe I’ve always got from her.

Long time lurker, posted once about her presence at ALL the attacks & this is what I keep coming back to. If we agree that the deaths were deliberate, then they had to be done by somebody & who was present for all of them? Nobody was even remotely close behind! Can’t have been committed by somebody who’s only there for a 1/3 of them. To me, it’s irrelevant what LL/colleagues presence rate was for other collapses on the unit. If they’re not deemed suspicious then it doesn’t matter who is/isn’t there. What matters is when these murders were committed, who was always there to commit them? Surprised LL is so cocky about getting away with it, it’s well known that police cross reference shift data with deaths to identify nurse killers…

Interested to hear her defence, everybody deserves their chance to share their side: However I do have a few points about defence if anybody could shed some light…

So usually in murder cases there’s no disputing the murder has occurred, it’s more if the accused is guilty or not. In this case, they’re defending LL by not only arguing it’s not her, but that some deaths weren’t even murder…. This to me seems contradictory & confusing because they are also accepting some collapses as intentional… “oh that wasn’t murder that was an infection… but yes the insulin, that was attempted murder, but not by LL…”. Okay right, which one is it?! Their stance seems confusing. I thought they’d either argue that the deaths weren’t murder, or that they were murder but it isn’t by LL. Instead they’re doing a bit of both?

Also, thinking aloud, how can they ensure presenting expert witnesses is fair & representative? As in…. You ask 100 doctors if liver bleeding was caused by an attack or by CPR… 95 say caused by attack, 5 say CPR. So it’s much more likely that 95% are indeed correct than the 5%, yes? For most medical matters, you always have a minority who disagree with mainstream consensus. But say each side is allowed 2 expert witnesses; if prosecution choose 2 out of the 95 doctors to argue that liver bleeding is caused by attack, and defence also call up 2 out of the 5 doctors to argue that liver bleeding is caused by CPR, to the jury it looks like there’s a 50/50 split with whether liver bleeding was caused by attack or CPR, when in reality an overwhelming majority of doctors believe it’s an attack and only a select few believe the latter. Not sure I’m even making sense, find it hard to put into words…
---
Also, I can’t imagine the mental anguish these parents are going through and what emotions/trauma seeing LL take the stand will provoke. The what ifs going through their heads must be absolutely gut wrenching…. What if baby was born a different day/cared for by different nurse/born at different hospital/transferred , pregnancy/labour went differently, was always in presence of parents etc. I can’t imagine these thoughts constantly whirring around in my head. I do hope the parents find some peace & answers but the fact she’s plead NG & willing to take stand makes me feel that she has no empathy or remorse & these poor parents won’t get this. My heart 💔
