I always thought he was extremely supportive and proud of Lucy and her achievements. He's a very strong alpha male and seems to say what he thinks which some dont like but it doesn't make him a bad person. Lucy seems to have done some amazing things with him by her side . Relationships end for lots of reasons and the only people that know are the ones in it.

Agreed. This screams of he has cheated or behaved poorly and she’s out there living her best life in America. I’m sure she’s in pain but she’s glowing
