Not sure going for a long run when you were sick was a good idea / good example. Also she could have left it for at least a day (ie her job doesn’t dictate long runs at weekends like the majority). So she’s got her first marathon in two weeks… looks like she’s aiming for 7 min miling or thereabouts. Will be v interested to see how she does!
Definitely not! If you’re already feeling that sick, why would you bother? You’d think someone with her experience would know it’s counter productive.

Did you see her list of upcoming events over the next few months? It looks absolutely bonkers. Two marathons, an ultra, a trek to Everest base camp, and Hyrox. Why not pick a couple things and actually enjoy them?

I did look at the course elevation and I guess over a marathon you feel every hill but it's hardly "hilly" she should have done the Leeds marathon first to make anything feel flat :ROFLMAO: I mean that's a BQ time for her right? I'm guessing she's not going to go run up their hills either? Still some people tried telling me that Manchester marathon was "not flat" which just ridiculous to me, I can't get to the end of the road I live on without covering the entire elevation that's in 26.2 miles of Manchester marathon.

And that is exactly why I’ve been Manc as my first Mara 😂😂😂😂

Anyone know what happened at Manchester Hyrox? I don’t have Instagram but just watched her latest YouTube video where she talks about going for the world record, but looked up the results and they came 10th in their category.
They came first, they beat their previous time by 12 seconds.

Felcity Rosina no longer follows her and wished him happy birthday.
To be fair Fliss was meant to be Lucy’s bridesmaid then never went the wedding. Noticed Lucy went to fliss’s hen, but then doesn’t look like she went the wedding either.

Is she still friends with Nuttyfoodiefitness (Steph)? Both in Berlin, no mention of each other. Also is Kim, Lucy’s boyfriend? They seem very close

Had to look up the myprotein gels at that, they look pretty standard so will probably be fine if she's been practicing with them...they do a pre-workout one as well though which I expect would definitely make you shit your pants :ROFLMAO:
I can only assume that the high elapsed time in her 30k was due to her taking gels 🙏😂 I do genuinely hope she does well but it will be interesting to see how her body holds up to "racing" a marathon compared to running an ultra. However, I also hope that if she does do well she doesn't see that as a green light to think she can preach about running (any more than she is now...)

Wow is Everest base camp between the two marathons?! Surely that is a pretty mega thing that will really take it out of you… (not that a marathon is something to be sniffed at either - I only do one a year as the process HARD and all consuming ). And she actually hasn’t done any hiking / mountain walks either so it seems like she’s going in to that without any specific training…

She yawns at the start of every vlog and talks while yawning. It’s really annoying. She is also the busiest person ever with work and training. No one else is as busy as her.
Hate the yawning too, can almost smell her bad morning breath...🤮

What’s the instagram for her? Curious to see what kind of training they’re putting together for her. What a bizarre choice of coaches

Also, I’ve just seen this in her stories - first period in five years? Does anyone know if there was a reason behind it? It makes me think she’s not as healthy as she’s trying to make herself out to be

I believe it is, although not 100%. I’m sure she’ll get through it all seeing how fit she is, but it’s quite possible she’s going to be drained physically and mentally by the end. Like you, I can also really only stand one endurance event per year, maybe two at a stretch, but she’s doing them all within at least 6 months or less. I foresee quite a few niggles and injuries in her future
