Hills are relative
.The hill at the end is a killer because it’s at the end but it’s not a hard hill really.
I’ve run hillier races and when I ran the one with the scariest elevation, my hill training was the best it ever was. Now I can barely walk up the hills I was running up in those months
. I can eat more chocolate buttons though so swings and roundabouts. Running in Lanzarote always makes me feel shit because of the hills and wind so it will be interesting to see how she copes out there.
That's why all these 'fitness influencers' are always injured

At least marathon day will tell the truth!This was the moment she lost all integrity for me. Do not dare try and make out that was your fastest ever 30k when your moving and elapsed times differ by 8 minutes. Good run, yes, but not what you're making it out to be!! She is a good runner but far from an expert in it at all and I am starting to really lose the will with these people who think that they know it all because they are able to run themselves....
I feel like it wouldn’t have ended so abruptly (so it seems) and getting up and moving immediately/leaving the country if it didn't work out because one of them can’t have kids. Though Lucy was very vocal about wanting children very soon… stuff he’s posted in the wake of the breakup made me think he has a child? Or is the kid he was posting a sibling?

I’ve seen some of their plans before and honestly, it’s not worth the amount they’re asking you to fork over. £40/month for a bog standard training program? I’d save your money
I feel like it’s a shame that Lauren has been overlooked in comparisons to Lucy (I know she’s pro wc) but the way it’s being promoted just seems unfair.
It does seem like there needs to be definitive differences between pro and open to keep it fair. Maybe the change to qualifying for worlds will make a difference

I think she’d also have to adjust her weight lifting/workout schedule to go sub 3, running would have to be the primary focus. I can say all I like though as for me I can probably only do that pace for 1km at best, maybe I could stretch it to a mile in perfect conditions. I can’t imagine holding it for a 5k never mind a marathon.

I still don't understand how she can train daily with such high volume without taking adequate rest between days. She recently addressed this on her You Tube when asked and her repsonse was something along the lines of when she was younger she swam nearly every day sometimes twice and that was much harder than this because she also had school etc etc
Could this be correct? I find it difficult to understand as i don't see other athletes training similarly. However, its interesting if true and her body can handle the training due to her swimming background.

I do feel for them both. We don’t know what has gone on and must be horrid having to live through it on social media somewhat… and be business partners. Messy.

She didn’t go out fast enough for sub 3. That would have been some epic negative split if she had! Reckon her next Mara she will def go for sub 3, but she will need to train at faster paces if she’s going to do it (not the easy runs obvs)

Here you go ladies. In fairness it was bloody hot and chester has a tough second half, however she slowed by over 2 minutes per mile towards the end. God know what her goal was but I am currently putting her in the Wellogs category of pacing from now until she proves me wrong!!

One thing that’s been on my mind for a while is if she’s “natural” or not. I think I read somewhere a while ago of someone accusing her of taking PEDs and I think she even addressed it. But ever since then, I’ve always found myself questioning if she does or not. I’m not saying she isn’t very fit and healthy because I can see she is, but there’s always the question in my mind if she’s had a little “help”
