She’s worried about her driving abilities so she decides to drive her pregnant sister? She didn’t know her tyres were flat, her dad had to tell her and no doubt he blew them up for her as well. Being “clueless” isn’t quirky or cute sis.

I thought that.

This is an old screenshot but how did she seemingly do so well in her GCSE’s but go on to work in matalan like these are the grades someone very smart gets she must be lying or if she’s telling the truth what a waste she should of gone to college
I think rather than college she did an apprenticeship at the nursery. So I guess she was intending on working in childcare but from watching her vlogs it seems she fell out of love with that. I mean she’s only young, maybe she doesn’t know what she wants to do yet. At least she’s working and earning money. I’m older than her and still no clue what I want to do. I don’t think it’s always as simple as having no ambition, finding something you truly love is harder than it sounds.

im just going to say that I’m a little tired of this idea of retail or service work being a “waste”. It’s very insulting to the millions of people that work those jobs. The way the country is now you would hope this attitude would change but clearly not. It’s still that awful thing of oh low paid jobs are all staffed by thickos that have no qualifications. I guarantee you most people that work these jobs have GCSEs a-levels or degrees. She clearly doesn’t think she’s below these jobs so I at least give her credit for that.

I’m not saying that people who work retail are dummies I’m just trying to say that Lucille who according to her gcse results is very smart it would be good to see her in college/university getting a career which she could achieve its sad to see her not trying to better herself by going to college/ university

She needs a challenge though, if she could do childcare at a nursery she could work up to have the confidence of a teacher. This girl needs a challenge that puts her outside of her comfort zone.

Maybe her family is just very traditional in the sense that the men are expected to be the main breadwinners whilst the women do the housework, cooking and childcare at home. It's very telling that both of her sisters have ended up being young mums, so maybe her family brought her up with this mindset and she knows no different. Additionally, she could have gone to a deprived school with little opportunities. Maybe the teachers didn't focus on encouraging college and university, because they had to focus on dealing with bad behaviour and helping those who are under-priveleged. This is all just speculation, but I think Lucille is a bright girl and her lack of ambition may be down to her upbringing rather than her simply wanting an easy life. For example, my family are not academic and tried to discourage me from going to sixth form after school because they wanted me to go straight into a job and start earning money, like they did. I could have easily listened to them to keep family peace and gain their approval.

With that said, it is unusual for someone with such high grades to have no interest in any of their subjects. Especially subjects like French- it is more than just memorising what's in the textbook; getting such a high grade requires at least some interest in the language. Surely there must be something she is interested in besides eating and shopping.

Laura was the same, I don't know what her grades were but I can remember from the vlogs that she studied hard.

I'm a primary school teacher and i truly don't see her capturing a classroom of children and managing behaviour.

Yeh I have various friends who teach primary, it is much more tough than just playing and basically babysitting

She’d be one of those teachers the children made cry. Come on we all had them 😂

It was just an example. I’m just saying she has the potential to do more with her life (and not just career wise) but she lets a lack of confidence hold her back.

I doubt it though. She was hardly brought up to be a house wife. She can just about scramble some eggs and put a frozen pizza in the oven. Plus she clearly does virtually no housework, she didn't even know what laundry detergent was in a recent vlog and in her last two months of daily vlogs she hasn't as much mentioned doing a bit of hoovering, dusting or any other basic housework most people do. I know women who were brought up in traditional families and they could cook proper meals and clean the whole house by the time they were 8 or 9. Though she has mentioned before that she isn't focused on a big career and would rather travel and have a family. But who knows how shes meant to travel the world on minimum wage with no one who wants to go with her. Not to mention being a parent. The poor kids probably wont even know what a vegetable is and think a cocso meal is the height of luxury. The house will probably be filthy aswell. That assuming her or her bf commits to moving an hour away from their parents to move in together

She hasn't posted a new vlog in a few days, maybe she's finally realised that montages of her doing jigsaws and scrapbooking everyday isn't interesting

Lucille has a boyfriend yet she still says she has no one to travel with can he not travel with her 🤔
I don’t think he wants too? Or can’t because he works for his family? I think he doesn’t want to
Which is a shame, it’d be nice to see him do something for her, she’s constantly going to see him etc
