The house coat thing is a regional word in Scotland. Most call it a dressing gown but my dad is from the central belt, Glasgow area and he also calls it a house coat as do all his family, many people there do. But I like your theory, it could also just be how he was raised though.

He reminds me of a grandad in a way even though his age. People have said he treats lucille like a child and I agree. But I think he treats her like how a grandad would treat a child. He's loving and caring. He's very old school. Has that feeling about him. Respectful. From what we've seen doesn't act like a typical loud guy. He wears the flat caps I know that's fashion or a preference. He likes them.

Sorry. I was trying to think of the year. It wasn't the 50s. It was just done everything more old school. Girls couldn't be seen with a guy. You could only walk her home. If he got to walk the girl home he liked it was a big deal. As big as kissing her would be. Everything was done slower at a slow pace. Couldn't jump into bed together. Can't think of the time. It ws some era I'm thinking of. I was just putting my words wrong.

Michael honestly gives me the creeps and I think Lucille can do way better than him. I think he likes that she is so shy and has little confidence cause she’ll never meet other boys
