agree - he definitely had a super injunction and was rumoured to have had a fling with Kirsty Gallagher. Louise put up with it for years and took the bashing from the press when they split to protect the boys.

I always thought Jamie wanted more children but Louise didn’t. I think she had endometriosis too which impacted her fertility. But she probably knew she would be the one doing all the hard work

I came on here to moan about the DF pipping Jamie/Louise against each other and saw your comment. Louise really wanted another child, a daughter ideally but struggled quite a lot with conceiving the first two and was getting older. She then went on Strictly and did a total 180 on the marriage. Jamie was a prolific cheater and pretty useless husband by all accounts and she often felt like a single parent. As you say she knew it was all down to her. I’m sure Jamie was desperate for another child to put two fingers up to Louise for leaving him.

I agree that Jamie played the game well by remaining silent and letting the situation play out. I'm not convinced that his plan was to settle down again so quickly with a new wife and young family including multiple stepkids. It's giving shotgun wedding due to 'traditional' beliefs about family and out-of-wedlock kids.

I definitely feel there is regret from Louise. I would imagine travelling up and down the country to Plymouth and doing low rate campaigns with Peacocks isn’t what she thought it would be. And if you really look at the facts, what on earth was she doing, a married mum in her 40s, partying with Daisy Lowe and going off meeting Kevin Clifton’s parents! She had a major lapse of judgement (and loyalty)!

Jamie gave the impression of being ‘the perfect hubby’ but maybe he was more of a pampered, selfish type who put himself first expecting Louise to take care of the home and kids like his mum did. These are not attractive attributes and men like this are two a penny.

Men can have their cake and eat it but do they think a woman dreams of a man who is twaddling up the road with his golf clubs, off to go act the clown with their buddies for hours on end while you stay at home washing their dirty underwear? The man starts to lessen in their woman’s eyes and sadly a lot of women emotionally check out of their marriage when they feel unappreciated. Woman want to feel like the most important thing. It’s not rocket science.

I went right off her after Strictly all the things she was saying like she felt like a Stepford wife, well she dumped Jamie in a heartbeat and now he's re married and having a baby, I'm sick of reading how regretful she is, she thought shed be big again but not that many people care, she's too full of herself IMHO and I'm glad Jamie's found happiness, I remember watching A League of There Own and Corden Flintoff and Whitehall used to rib him about the Strictly curse and it went and happened.

Me too. Was really shocked at the way she went about the whole thing. If I had Jamie Redknapp waiting at home I’d not be jacking that in for nights out with Daisy Lowe.

I think Jamie cheated most definitely and wanted her to be the perfect stay at home wife/mother, modelled on his own parents now old fashioned relationship dynamic.

However, i do believe there was a fling with Kevin and an expectation that they would be together as her marriage to Jamie was coming to an end.

For the year immediately after strictly Louise and Kevin were spending time together, even during and after he won his series with Stacey Dooley he takes Louise to his parents home up north and they spent the Christmas period with them which i think it’s a pretty serious couple thing to do.

The whole time this was going on it had become obvious Kevin had fallen for Stacey and it probably was reciprocated, but she was engaged.

The New Year comes and goes and before you know it Staceys engagement is said to be officially over, Kev and Stacey are pictured together and Louise is unfollowing Kevin and making sly digs at him via her Instagram account and then telling the media the two of them never speak and they were never close anyway.

What is it with Kevin Clifton? I find him spectacularly unattractive. Just my opinion, mind.

I do think Louise is very pretty, much prettier than his new wife

I wouldn't mind looking like Louise when I'm almost 50! Frida isn't ugly, but she has extremely severe eyes and the low brows don't help. Slightly horsey looking. Served her well in modelling though I guess and many find those qualities very attractive. Jamie on the other hand has been morphing into his brother and Harry over the past year especially.

No one knows what goes on behind closed doors. But I don’t think she would say she regretted walking away if all the rumours about him being a cheat etc were true.
I think they always seemed like a solid couple, they had a lovely family unit.
It’s not like she was hugely successful as a singer, she had what one single and album?

I get that maybe she was having a bit of a midlife crisis and with the kids growing up wanted to get back to ‘work’ and maybe Jamie was unsure. But that’s where I feel couples counselling could have helped.

He does seem to have moved on quickly being married and with another baby on the way.
If he was a ‘cheat’ the wouldn’t he just be off playing the field rather than playing happy families with someone else?

I think you may well be on the money here. In my opinion, there seemed to be something more going on but she is lucky she managed to brush that aspect of it under the carpet, for the most part. I think the intensity of Strictly with Kevin turned her head after years spent as mum and wife and being in middle age. Regardless of any issues, her marriage and family was worth so much more.

As for Jamie, many different opinions. We will have to agree to disagree for lack of supporting evidence. Some think devoted family man (a La Harry to Sandra) and others think bit of a love rat. I just feel that Louise is so vocal about things that she would have come out and said if that’s what she was divorcing him for.

TBF Kevin Clifton has always one eye on the next person he could cling on to the coattails of fame of. Am sure he lost interest when he realised he was not going give her next public fling. At least (for him) with pseudo Lutoner Stacey he’ll hang on to his 5 mins of fame a little longer than otherwise.
