Must be a bit annoying for Kelle Bryan that her and Louise pulled out together but she is only in the articles as an afterthought
Good to see them both sticking to their principles though and not just chasing the money

I don't think that any man, even known cheaters, attract as much vitriol as Louise does on the comment section of the Daily Mail.
The hatred for her is bizarre.

I'm not a fan but she's mostly harmless from what I can tell. A bit silly with the posting saucy pics on Instagram when she's admitted her sons don't like it but otherwise I feel a bit sorry for her. Can't be easy realising you've made a mistake of such epic proportions and not being able to fix it.

I personally don’t think Jamie cheated. I think Louise was bored with the housewife life, Jamie travelled alot with work and was on tv all the time and I think she wanted a piece of it. It was well publicised that Jamie didn’t want her to so strictly and he didn’t want her to do the strictly tour either. So I think her filing for divorce under unreasonable behaviour was because of that. She had a taste of the lime light and got swept up thinking her music career would be reignited and it wasn’t. I think she regrets ending her marriage but now Jamie has moved on. I think he’s always wanted the traditional married life like his parents.
I met Jamie in 2005 and he was an utter gentleman. My friends age just friends spent all night together in a bar and he was nothing but respectful. Richard Keyes was also with him and he was a full on sleaze trying to get me and my mates to his hotel room 🤢

I agree, I think there is alot of regret as she acted hastily and I don’t think the grass is always greener. Their marriage was worth saving- or at least trying to save as it wasn’t just about her, her actions deeply affected their boys lives and pulled their family apart too. And for what really? I think what she is doing now, she could have done while married. If he was a bit traditional on that front then yes he would have needed to confront that and change to allow her to pursue her dreams also. Perhaps couples therapy. I feel like she very quickly disregarded and humiliated him and he was her husband- you don’t treat the ones you love like that. Loyalty and devotion are admirable traits and he did deserve more than that.

I think one of the biggest issues being married to Jamie is how his mum dotes on his dad, no 'modern' woman is going to basically do everything for her husband listening to Harry it's fairly definite he can't even organiser his own clothes!!

That does not surprise me. Is she keeping his surname though or will she return to being one of the Lewisham Nurdings?
Nope. If a man (or society) wants a woman to change her name to his, and have the children have that name too, she gets to keep the name. She changed it, not borrowed it.

I doubt Louise signed a nda,why would she?
They were long time married and kids so he would have had little leverage over her in terms of divorce negotiations.
I have no doubt he cheated,he's a former footballer after all,but I'm not buying him being such a dog and that's why she left him,
She is so high profile with this since split about it all,and the regret is written all over her face.
She had bit of a mid life crisis and wanted her old life back and it didn't pan out that way.
No hate for her but she was very silly.
And worst of all she knows it.

I think because of Jamie’s widely known behaviour when they were married, she (and most others) assumed he would become a bit of a sad Middle Aged ‘playa’ type. So him settling down and having a child has caught her off guard.

Her reasons for leaving the marriage were valid and YEARS overdue, but attempting to create some kind of tortured mother narrative now seems a bit ill timed and spiteful, which again is a shame given the shit she put up with for decades.

I’m sure the photo the DM have of the Redknapps together on Christmas morning is from last year, or am I going mad?! If not the same it is very similar with Louise just happening to get Jamie in the corner is shot say in an armchair while the boys open presents!
Sorry to quote myself but Louise has confirmed it now. How can these people call themselves journalists when it’s so obviously factually incorrect what they are writing?!

Very late to this, but speaking of Jamie cheating, Harry dropped Jamie in it when he discussed Jamie flirting with a Juror at Harry's tax trial. I don't think Harry thought about the dates when he said it, as he told the story when Louise & Jamie had split, but it actually happened in 2012 when they were very much married

I didn't change my name when I got married. Marriage is very much on the rocks now, so at least that will be one less thing to worry about in the event of a divorce!

I always feel like Louise did it to get a rise out of Jamie, as if she expected him to beg her not to leave. Then it back fired.

Attention seeking I guess...?

I think lots of us have left someone who's moved on very quickly & is apparently blissfully happy. Obviously not in every case but men do seem to be able to find someone more easily. Having it play out so publicly must sting terribly.
Similar situation with Guy Ritchie also but Madonna must be an easy act to follow!

She must totally regret what she did when she left him. He is gorgeous, seems like a great dad and always looked to be devoted to her. It’s too late for regrets now though.
Yeah he is a lovely looking guy. And seems a decent sort too.

I think her strictly mates encouraged her to leave Jamie and she’d have this great new set of mates and support network.
But they were simply ‘friends for a season’ and pissed off once the show was over. None of them seem to have much understanding of life, and they didn’t have families so had no idea of what the reality would be like for Louise.

Kevin Clifton is a fame hungry, manipulative social climber.

At first I thought he was noble in how he dealt with things but now I wonder if he was slighted and quick to end the marriage, rather than give her space and maybe work it out. Unless Louise insisted on a divorce- We don’t know full details. However, he moved on with such completeness, the situation with Frida and her kids must be difficult for the boys.

He seems to play the media game well, while Louise made mistakes but is open and wears her heart on her sleeve- which attracts ‘Daily Mail type of criticism’ with her comments being misconstrued by people determined to judge her.

Anyone from the outside looking in wonders why have a baby when you 6 kids between you? I respect Louise for staying single and focusing on herself and the boys. I think when eventually the time is right and she does find someone, it will be someone right for her and I do think no matter what, it will hurt him alot.

I like this response. Well done Louise! I thought it was interesting that she said she’s in control of her life so perhaps Jamie was controlling?
I don’t envy Jamie’s position at all. Far too many kids and I feel a bit sorry for his boys having to taken on so many step siblings….in fact I feel sorry for all the kids!! View attachment 904499
Beat me to it! I love this. I am so sick of the Mail and similar sites posting a load of cobblers about how woeful and filled with regret Louise must be.

What I did pick up in her book was hostility towards Kevin Clifton. She hardly mentioned him and the odd comment she did make about him was 'terse'.
I always get the feeling they either had a fling or a flirtation during Strictly, then when Louise left Jamie she thought he’d be there waiting for her, but it was not the case.
