I mean, it’s not rocket science is it. She’s living way beyond her means. She doesn’t need a PA, she doesn’t need an accountant on retainer, she doesn’t need to keep horses. She doesn’t need any of that and she can’t afford it. You’d think she’d have learned this after her last bankruptcy, it’s not exactly difficult, but no. She’s the only one to blame here.
She didn't need to employ a private eye to spy on the German over Christmas, the most expensive time. It was obvious he didn't want her, there was no need to chuck money at that just to prove a point. What of earth is the accountant doing for that much and she is still in debt. But none of it will be her fault.
A common theme with Liz (as noted by @Tabitha D and @SamBamford above) is 'She doesn't need...'. Because that's the bit Liz refuses to address - she didn't, and doesn't, need the majority of things she seems to think are perfectly reasonable in Liz's world. Until she realises that (I won't hold my breath ) then the 'poor me' Liz is doomed to her life of feelings of ingratitude and dissatisfaction. I'm almost (only almost) tempted to feel sorry for her. But it's all self-inflicted, so... nope
It would ruin my holiday break if I had that guring harridan snarling smiling at me as I went out or came back. And I could just image her checking the inventory looking for ways to claw back a chunk of cash because there was a single hair (PUBIC! ) left on one of the sheets . . . also - you'd probably have to wade through dog poo getting to the door. This likely applies whether you are inside or outside the property.
Or some even half-attractive bloke who just wants a couple of days to explore the area and enjoy the wonderful North East, and suddenly finds he has to jam a chair under the bedroom doorknob . . .
Meanwhile, eyeing up her next conquest, she'll be buying lobster for his breakfast and complaining how ungrateful he is when he only wants cornflakes.
My mum lives in a village quite near where LJ lives. I sometimes rent a house in the village on air bnb if there are a lot of us going up to see my mum as her house is small. The last time I went up in the October half term holiday it cost £135 a night for an entire 3 bed, 2 bathroom house with a big garden. There was a log burner and a free standing bath - ok no marble prep table but we could eat our breakfasts and come and go as we pleased. Seems a lot in comparison to pay nearly £100 a night for just one room/bathroom and having to share the rest of the house with mein hostess and her guard dog??
I hope she has made that courtyard look a bit more welcoming than when we first saw it. It looked like the back yard of a pub where you’d store the empties.
So has anyone found the listing on Airbnb yet?
I've checked practically the whole Darlington area and there's bugger all
Surely she's not telling lies...................
