How long does it normally take for a name and details to come out from this sort of thing? Who drives anywhere let alone somewhere as busy as that while taking drugs. Shocking what happened
We'll hear his name once he's charged.

So it seems the "53yo white British man" arrest is a smokescreen for now because they haven't said the arrest was the driver.

The driver was protected by police and bundled into the van, but the poor man on the ground who was a victim of this ordeal, was manhandled and pinned to the ground and pepper sprayed into his eyes even though he was fully pinned down??
Well if you say “I’m gonna shoot you” the police will do that.

Maybe he was drunk/drugs and were trying to stop him
Surely they wouldn't have known that though? I wouldn't have said before the incident that it looked like he was being a bad driver to think he was drunk/drug driving? He was going slow and maybe just took a wrong turn and obviously wasn't the only one who went that way as there was another car Infront of him

It reminds me of when they interview the neighbours after a domestic abuse arrest- always the same: they seemed like a normal couple, kept themselves to themselves etc
Maybe it was the same mysterious neighbours that moved from Southport 😂

It’s mostly after he had already stopped. Not sure if he would have gone on, the police actually seem to take a surprisingly long time to react but a few seem to had been knocked over as well so

there’s another video just before (I assume) and only one person seems to really go for the driver by opening the door and it looks like someone is shouting at the car
There is another video and it looks like the car windows are smashed.

I disagree with this because [technically] you haven't murdered anyone until you're found guilty. People have to be able to defend themselves.
It's pointless though , who do they choose as character witnesses? People who know them probably love them so are biased.

They were protecting him so that they could arrest him. Can’t question or charge a dead man.
Yes I know that but equally maybe the people there who's lives were actually endangered didn't have much confidence in the police to actually protect them since they were so slow on the uptake... or any hope for actual justice?
...not much hope for charges on something like this, social media tweets maybe, but actually hurting other people not so much.
