That’s definitely not her wrote that her husband must run her SM I’ve seen a few questionable comments , he’d need to be careful how he replies to people as that’s her political account.

I saw this comment and thought it was bull but they really have changed their entire program by the looks of it. No issue with them doing an event but honestly the folk park is all about how Irish people were living like tit and were forced to get on boats elsewhere.
If they always did a Halloween event and thanksgiving event and have cancelled it that is a real shame

It’s literally called the Ulster American Folk Park what part has Africa played in Irish immigrant settlers? BTW the folk park is really good. I went a while back with young family and they loved it and I took more in about the history than I did as a kid.
I don't get it either.
I just checked and based on the census, Northern Ireland is 0.6 percent black. Asian ethnicity is actually higher, 1.6 percent!
'Other white' 5 percent, a lot of which must be Eastern European.
Why isnt there a Asian or Polish themed event at the Park?
Was just what I was going to post next, We’ve had the Keralan community here for yrs and Chinese ,they celebrate their cultural events amongst themselves with an open invitation if other communities want to take part I can’t understand the constant need to force black culture on people

The thing is I am all for us being more educated about slavery etc but pretending it had a huge factor her when that clearly wasn’t true is just bizarre. Like have an African American day in October to educate people but don’t erase what actually happened here. I haven’t researched much about the famine myself but know enough to know it was the English starving the Irish out. Simple as that,
