As usual, someone chooses to post their life online, gets upset when they are called out and then uses that to make a post to gain a load of “omg ignore the evil, jealous TROLLS, you do you hun, you’re amazing” blah blah blah feedback.
How can you say you can’t deal with the stress of homeschooling but willingly film your kids cooking as it earns you money is ridiculous. You aren’t being asked to do 9-3 lessons love, but to do nothing IS LAZY! She is infuriating

She really is the queen of moan. She must walk around her house hiding from her kids with a symphony of the world's tiniest violins playing. She even makes her regular midday baths and self care sessions into a whinge fest.

she said a few months ago it’s for deaf people/hard of hearing people. I have a friend who said how she appreciates people who do it so I’m not going to put a negative on lil for it, probs the only thing I like about her and I actually don’t mind her doing it as I don’t have to listen to her annoying fake London accent.

Also to add to this I actually love subtitles because with little ones around, it’s nice to still be able to look at Instagram but not worry about rogue swearing . I work in digital/social media & there’s a surprising demand for subtitles!

Anyway back to Lil, watching Isla with paint made me VERY nervous

I personally think it’s ridiculous to have a business that is showing the interaction of your family on a platform you don’t control. Insta could go tomorrow, or a new algorithm , that could terminate your income stream. I think that’s a stupid risk.
But more so where you be a bricks and mortar profession or a trade. Having gone through an apprenticeship and having lifted your skills whythrow that away or let your skills go.
Plus, she’s not confident. She hates selling stuff and it’s clearly added to pressure on her partner when she’s caught up at events, and she gets short with her kids. She’s unsuited for the job and it has a negative impact so why do it.
I may be old, but I have a young family and honestly money isn’t everything. I don’t think she’s happier than when she was a slimming world account, I think she’s lost the plot.

You think it’s stupid to have an Instagram business yet thousands of people are making big money from it. I don’t think social media is going away anytime soon (if ever?) and companies know they’re on to a good thing paying instagrammers to promote. Yes it’s a risk, but sometimes you have to take risks in life to get what you want. She can go back to cooking if she needs to and I can’t imagine she was making much money doing 2 nights a week. Yes a new algorithm could terminate her income, but she was practically made redundant at her job, and it’s very hard to find part time work that suits your own family.

You say it’s added pressure on her partner but you don’t know what goes on behind closed doors - she won’t be working 2 nights a week so she will be home a little bit more. I’m pretty sure they would have discussed it in depth and come to the decision together.

Each to their own, I respect your opinion but I don’t think you can slate her for it really. She’s doing what she (and I assume Kieran) have decided it’s what’s best for their family.

I dont believe Isla is like this all the time because all children (and adults) have their moments. I just cannot abide cheeky and disrespectful children who are allowed to get away with such behaviour but I loathe lazy parenting more.

It's not funny, it's shameful. You're reinforcing horrid behaviour that, let's face it, once she starts school you're not going to have to be the one to deal with it.

I would be mortified and embarrassed if my daughter acted that way and she is a very similar age. I have no idea how anyone finds it's funny. I think Lil is a terrible parent by what she shows.

She did a blog post a few months ago about them struggling in their relationship. It happens. I’ve been with my other half since 2006 and we split up for 3 months years ago because we were taking each other for granted. I’m not saying I recommend it and it’s hard on kids but we’ve never sunk to those depths ever again cos it was a huge wake up call

I really struggle with the poor him posts I see on here. We have no idea what happens in their relationship. She goes to influencer events, but he goes abroad for football too. He does house DIY - but why the fuck wouldn’t he? She cooks?
I sometimes think the comments on here about the two of them are bullshit.

Urgh I’ve unsubscribed, the gushing about how she needed relaxation at that “press trip” (DESPISE this phrase) has sent me over the edge. Hun you lie on your sofa for hours a day, what relaxation do you need?! Why do these instawankers think their life is so difficult?

My problem with ads are that they exploit the kids, who can’t possibly understand that the internet is forever and have no control over who is watching them. People they don’t know will be able to use their name to look them up when they are Older, and see their whole childhood.

And i don’t agree with , “we’d all love the money”, because I wouldn’t put my kids up to pay my bills, even if the benefits the kids. If these were ads, or tv, the kids would have the moneyTHEY earn kept in trust, and have conditions about how and when they can perform. Lil is small beans, but if she’s making a living off her kids it’s all the same to me.

And it’s not a choice I would make, I’m not envious of the money. I’d rather work for it and not rely on my kid performing for the camera to buy groceries.

Just because she openly talks about finding parenting hard doesn’t mean she’s a bad parent or shouldn’t have another child. I find parenting hard, and have cried when my baby won’t sleep, does it mean I won’t have another? No! Parenting IS hard but so rewarding and whilst she might moan about the kids she also says how much she loves them. I’m pretty sure all parents moan about their kids, it’s just that she does it on an open platform.

my eldest often made me cry, she just seemed so naughty and out of control and was only ever like that for me never her dad. But once she started nursery at 3 she just changed, then a year later I had my second and he is like the devil child, so naughty and Just goes through life like a wrecking ball breaking everything in his path. He’s never brought me to tears because I’ve learned from my first that this phase will pass. I’ve never openly posted about it but if I did I’m sure people would think I couldn’t cope. Isla is just acting her age, and I’m sure once baby comes she will do a lot of growing up as will Abbie because they will have to.
