My neighbour seems to know some of his family members but I can’t think of a non embarrassing way to ask

Tbf I get her being upset. It must be devastating. I agree she doesn’t help herself but in that situation I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t think about it on the due date.

If she can make eggs in work then she can do this most mornings to fill up and take food that could have been prepared and heated up rather than buying shop bought pasta salads. Save her money too
