I feel really sorry for him and do think there’s definitely a delay with him. He never shows emotion- he also just seems very vacant. Probably thanks to jade never stimulating him or him having toys/books in his pushchair and play areaWhat is it with River, always has that mouth open strange look

River needs nursery to stimulate him and bring him up to where jade obviously can’t. Parenting doesn’t come naturally to everyone no matter how much you’ve always wanted a baby and I do feel for her in that respect but she isn’t doing him any favours with everything being beige and never doing anything child friendly with him. She could take him to soft play, toddler sensory groups, stay and play playgroup there’s so much about now for his age. That vacant stare won’t go away sat in a pushchair or on his moms hip while she boomerangs on insta!
I feel like jade is one of those people who always wanted a BABY, but didn’t maybe consider that baby turns into a toddler, a school age child, a grumpy teenager etc 
I really feel she thought it would be a cute thing to have and dress up and now he wants stimulation and playing with she doesn’t want to participate.
And look, not everyone enjoys being a toddler mum. But she doesn’t seem like, proud of anything he does? Unless if loads goes on behind the scenes that she doesn’t show us

She literally wanted a girl to dress up for instagram. She shows more enthusiasm for her niece . She's a vapid, dull, moron. Not surprising it's turned out like this going from the tit she used to post, how selfish she was and how she couldn't even cope with working in Asda 4 hours a week....
I'm glad that they have decided to allow River to go to nursery. He is of an age that even if he is delayed currently, he has a good chance of catching up. I never see any toys for River to play with anywhere they go. Especially not at home. When my kids were that age my front room basically felt like smyths toys superstore.

She said in her stories today she can't do anything in this weather, was going to go to soft play but she can only go when the other kids are there and they're crazy. That's what River needs to get the social interaction, toys and other kids to play with too. Instead, it sounds as if they've spent the day in her beige box.
It has probably been said before. I have followed her for years, before the pregnancy, wedding, grantha passing. I think there was a massive want for a child when they brought the house and realised that Rhod would need some help in not being the only bread winner, I remember at one stage they were so short of money she was saying on "talking stories" that she only had £4 something left. Yet a week later used her birthday money to treat herself and a table for the house as they had literally no furniture. The man was working nights to pay for everything. Whereas she hated her 4hrs a week in Asda and by getting pregnant she could leave "cus she was worried about the pregnancy" and he would support that.
She didn't have much of anything about her outside of her relationship with her grandparents and sister/family before River but I feel that has intensified since she became a mum too.

I know a lot of kids still put things in their mouths at his age but it’s the way he did it, just reminded me of a much younger baby. He has absolutely no expression either. It’s heartbreaking, especially if Jade is the reason why he’s like that.
Didn't she say that he wasn't responding to his name? That coupled with the sensory seeking (putting things in his mouth) would be enough for me to be concerned and wanting to explore this further so she can support him better.

Tbh from the stories she did beforehand I thought "she's deffo going to have a wobble in London". I expect her to say she came home early. Or had some sort of anxiety crisis.
