Thanks, I wasn't sure. Niall is the only one I follow but I don't remember seeing anything about it, I know Liam was there as I saw the tiktok. As another poster said, I imagine that's why he hasn't put out a statement yet. It's got to be difficult.

If all you get from that photo is the back of Liam's head then you don't get the meaning of it. Scratch beneath the surface. ALL the focus is on Liam, the audience in the stadium and ours too looking at the photo as he's performing in his happy place.

I really do think he was just absolutely out of it, potentially blacked out and went over, either that or perhaps trying to climb onto whatever was beside his balcony, knowing they didn't want him to leave his room. The boy was absolutely out of it, going by the pictures of the room. But I wasn't there, and that is only my opinion.
Honestly, the amount of people who think they are invincible on drink or drugs is mental, one season alone in Magaluf I think about 6 people had fallen to their deaths although not all solely down to drink/drugs - one girl had got locked out and was trying to get onto the next balcony to get into her friends apartment
I don't think we will ever find out the truth sadly, we can all only speculate. Either way, its a sad end to a young life.

That DM article… dropped by his label, girlfriend left him behind, ex fiancee lawsuit against him, desperate for any attention. He was obviously so far sunken into a pit of despair. It’s a shame there was no intervention from family/friends, though I know I can’t say I don’t know that there were any attempts. I just know if it were me, my family would have flown out and forcing me onto a plane/get help.
He really did, even just the last couple of videos I've seen have been uncomfortable to watch. It's like he was there in body but had checked out.
It’s just desperately sad, such a young man with demons that have ultimately lead to him loosing his life and his little boy without his dad. I don’t think we will ever know how he died whether it’s been deliberate or an accident. But I do feel the music industry should feel ashamed that so many of their young artists are damaged and just left without any duty of care.
You beat me to it. I know very little about any of the 1D lads and don't follow any of them, but when I just checked out the photo I couldn't understand the criticism from the earlier poster. As an older person who goes to see a lot of bands I thought it summed up the experience perfectly and was a really lovely image of a performer doing what he loved, in front of a huge crowd. Live music isn't about seeing someone's face, it's about how it moves you, gives you goosebumps, being among people like yourself who also understand, especially during a huge crowd singalong. That's what I took from the photo.

People who take those sly photos are honestly shameful tbh. Claiming “nobody was bothered” about him being there but you’ve taken sly photos of him??? I really do think he struggled with the amount of fame he had in 1D to then having a lot more free time and feeling lonely 
What could they do though really? They might not have known the extent of how bad things were for him. Nobody will truly know I don't think and we only know because he has now died and we are all looking into what has gone on in the days before, the videos he has posted, etc. For all we know he could have been telling his family he was absolutely fine.
The thing is, He would have needed to want to get the help himself, family can only do so much but the person needs to want to do it for themselves or it isn't going to work. It really is such a sad end to a life whatever way you look at it. 31 is just no age.

It’s heartbreaking, all of it. Young boy left without his dad, a mother without a son and a girl without a partner. It’s all just horrendous, not saying it takes away from the things he had done but the book exists as a point of reference if people are wanting to touch on that, the rest should’ve been dealt with out of the media. The media have a lot to answer for in so many situations
I’ve just looked at his girlfriend’s TikTok and my god…she’s so vapid it’s unbelievable. But what struck me was how out of it/unhappy Liam seemed in so many of her videos- this could be me watching them with bias but he really didn’t look good. Like he was just along for the ride. I didn’t get good vibes from the gf.
