Yeah it’s sad because we’ve seen him grow from a young innocent lad with his whole life ahead of him to his struggles in his more recent years to now a very unfortunate ending - crazy how quick time goes.

Not to mention the incessant gravy train of promoting music releases, which these days also includes doing social media content.

Then there's the amount of abuse hurled at such people on social media by dickheads. Who the feck would want to be famous these days...

It will never happen. It was even worse back in the late 90s/early 2000s when there were more music shows on TV. Still, you could always rely on one of your handlers/PRs to give you some coke to keep you going...

Oh, Liam! How horribly, horribly sad. Went on the show as a young lad hoping to have the life of his dreams and it led him here. Just tragic all round. And atrocious that someone called the press and took pictures of him. This is someone’s son.

I just want to say in her defence:

1. As a qualified DV adviser, this behaviour described here is absolutely a well known DV tactic and while it may not be in all cases and potentially not here, it really is and if you live with this don't let this case deter you from leaving or seeking help PLEASE.
2. We are all responsible for our own actions and nobody can make anybody complete suicide regardless of how they make them feel in their relationship or by rejecting them.
3. I've experienced DV as a child of a mum who experienced it and as a direct victim. My ex partner threatened suicide as part of DV control regularly. He beat me black and blue, he killed our unborn child and all along he emotionally controlled me by threatening suicide. I lost everything and was totally controlled. He did eventually die by suicide a few years later and the police told me I was lucky he didn't try to take me too as most cases they do.
This is sad beyond measure as was the loss of my KS, but please nobody blame Maya. She was a victim and believe me she'll already be blaming herself, not that she should be!
Wishing love, peace and relief to his family, Cheryl, his son Bear and Maya. These were his choices alone (suicide or accidental substance related death), please remember that when commenting on this and show them respect as they grieve. They aren't to blame.

Yep, not blaming her at all. Does give a bit of insight into that this probably wasn't a 'fall' since that seems to have been his tactic for years though.

I worked on a show he was guest judge on in August - though I didn’t meet him directly, I observed him as being so humble, courteous and patient with fans and he was well-liked by the crew and just seemed so… well, normal and nice. This is such a shock. RIP

I believe it was suicide and he definitely jumped, he had bad mental health issues and problems with drink and drugs, so sad
