Thanks, I wasn't sure. Niall is the only one I follow but I don't remember seeing anything about it, I know Liam was there as I saw the tiktok. As another poster said, I imagine that's why he hasn't put out a statement yet. It's got to be difficult.

I though he did have rehab of sorts as he mentioned recently he went away for help for a bit. I bet all this type of help is all arranged by his management, label etc. It's probably all on his contract that all is to be controlled by management and that really is where the problem lies it should be something private and pwrsonal away from work which is largely a problem when work is where the issues likely spring from.

I realised he came from The X Factor and that is already alarm bells as previous contestants have said a lot about that show and how the contracts are and I wonder if he is still in that sort of contract. It must be horrible to not to be free to be you and be under control if that's the case.
Money, fame, adoration, freebies, fans is not worth sacrificing your freedom and wellbeing for.

Yes I saw on Youtube or perhaps IG and he talked about rehab after we came out of lovkdown. I have NO idea how it came on my algorithm but I watched it and was happy he was getting help

This is his xfactor audition his voice sounded good here so I really think if he gone down the Michael buble style of singing or someone similar he could of gone far cause his voice suited that style . I understand the pop style of singing is more popular and sells like Harry’s music so it can be hard to do something different that appeals to young people but it’s just a shame he lost himself after the band and let his ego, career struggles from bad career moves , bitterness and everything else get to him cause he really doesn’t have a bad voice. If he had took time out of the spotlight to figure out what he wants to do he could of made a better comeback in a better state of mind and be humble and maybe then he could of had a chance of doing something with music that would of fulfilled him.
One direction was part of his life and when people hear his name he’ll always be associated with it but he does need to let it go he is holding onto that fame he once hand , brings it up way too much and it’s played a part in why he’s so stuck and can’t move on cause he’s desperate for them to get back together instead of trying to focus on something else.

Lots of gossip threads about Zayn having substance abuse issues too..same old story..thrust into the limelight at a young age and making millions of pounds..upper and downer drugs to cope with your emotions of the extreme highs and lows of fame..something to get you through the day and something to help you sleep. It’s sad really as I think he gets a lot of abuse about some of his life choices and recent interviews when it’s quite clear he’s in a dark place and needs a lot of support.

Don’t get me wrong I’m aware these are the reasons they go for drugs and that as I work in mental health but it is shocking how chilled the others seem to be compared to him. I haven’t read the other threads of them I imagine zayns is kinda crazy with stuff I’ve heard about him and Gigi and aware about the vid of him and Louis with weed that went around but besides that the media seems to be quite on him compared to Liam so wasn’t aware over his substance misuse. I do think it’s clear Liam really does need help especially after him mentioning his alcohol addiction on that podcast he is really vulnerable but there’s not much anyone can do until he notices he needs help

I don’t think any of us really know or will know what went on and sadly only one person is now able to tell the story.

Like i said earlier it’s a bit dangerous to put out a ‘based on a true story’ based on someone in the public eye but then embellish or simply make up parts of it especially when it involves such triggering topics such as DV/forced abortions etc

That's definitely not how I understood when she said that. Imo, she was meaning the reason wasn't true, but the actual abortion was.
