Just read Louis’ statement. His promise to be in Bear’s life is really beautiful.

I know it’s been said that Harry and Zayn might have hated Liam, but I find it hard to believe that either of them would manage to carry on hating him now he’s gone.

I don't know him whilst it's sad for his friends and family that's who it should be sad for, People really need to stop wallowing in pity for someone who didn't know they exists death.

I think they said it was over 40 feet? I knew someone who died from a fall under 20 feet.

Yeah the body is quite vulnerable and depending on how you land when falling depends on if you are ok or not. I was reading a few years ago of a lady who jumped off her sofa but she fell on her neck and became a paraplegic. And more recently look at that man who flew the plane at the Shoreham air crash. You’d definitely think he wouldn’t have survived that looking at the photos but somehow he did.

I’ve read he was escorted back to his room, was he being confined in there by staff? If so, I could imagine he wasn’t happy about it and tried to escape over the balcony. Purposely jumping to inflict harm is plausible too I think, as he wouldn’t necessarily go feet first, depending on how he pulled himself up and over the barrier.
The person who made the emergency call must’ve been concerned about his welfare / the balcony for a bigger reason than drunk and disorderly I think?

Indeed. I know someone who jumped from the top of a multi-storey car park. Landed on their feet. Lived to tell the tale. (I mean, their feet and legs didn't fare so well but they survived with only lower half injuries)

Well aren’t you a treat! You haven’t a right to tell people how to feel. A lot of the younger generation grew up and idolised these boys and I think it is totally ok for people to feel upset about it!

I'm having some complicated feelings about this one. On one hand, I feel very sorry for him - he obviously had problems, and I do think he was exploited. He seemed to be genuinely kind to his fans.

On the other, I find that video of him with his girlfriend (where he throws the hat off the table) absolutely chilling. That is one angry, unhappy young man, and I can't imagine what it was like to try to live with him.

I feel so sorry for his son.

i think for someone in the state he was in it would be normal to be concerned that they have access to a balcony.
I spoke earlier in the thread about my dad and his alcohol addiction, it used to absolutely freak me out when we went on holiday and he would be put on a high floor of the hotel even at the times he was sober.

I’ve seen you mention it being a snark site several times now. And while yes, you’re right, you can indulge in some witchy anonymous gossip whilst also having compassion for someone’s struggle and the friends and family dealing with huge grief. This site isn’t JUST for snark.

Im not convinced he fell but without any message or note or anything to anyone to say otherwise (which may still be found) then it’ll never be conclusively proved. Both are completely plausible.

The latest police theory they’ve released is he was may of been passed out on the balcony similar to when he was in reception and fell when he became unconscious. Something to do with the way he was found and fell, like he didn’t attempt to break the fall or brace.
