I think it’s such an elegant cut too. My friend thinks it’s mad that i’ve shown him as she got engaged a year or so ago and had never showed her boyfriend what she wanted etc so he surprised her, and each to their own, but she has a small like almost circle/square and it suits her as she’s dainty and got really small fingers but i’ve got small hands but large fingers and i just know what would suit mine. She’ll say you’re not saying yes to the ring etc and it’s so much better when they pick and you won’t care in the moment which i get but i’m like yeah but i’ve got to wear it for the rest of my life and I don’t wanna look down at me fingers screaming out of it and I’ve only told him the cut I know a girl who gave her fella a list of literally every single detail like cut, colour, clarity, carat, size etc to take with him so she knew it was coming after that!!

The top ring is one I was given to when my partner proposed to me in Edinburgh. I'm not big on jewelry and I didn't want anything too expensive as I tend to lose things. The bottom one is the one I got from her, it's made from cherry wood and dipped in silver that I got from Etsy. We aren't both into jewelry so we got something simple and that suits us. Thinking that we are wanting similar wedding rings and we quite like nature themed jewelry,if anyone would have any recommendations!

To be honest, most people think it's a fancy sapphire. There is nothing really distinguishing it as a diamond.
