I don't really know much about hunting, but I don't live in a country with much wildlife to start with. I just remember a winter we had some issues with wild boars overpopulation. Not sure how it got handled

As for the fur, again, I've never felt bad for wearing it. Faux fur is not sustainable at all and it's an environmental nightmare. I also am not open to stop wearing some of my cultural attire just to be politically correct. I never had an easy, but in Belgium, people are more of the live and let live mindset.

I was invited to boar hunt years ago possibly in Hungary although I can’t be certain of country. I didn’t fancy it at all!. They are “driven” (startled into going a certain route) which takes them past the guns..

re hunting and fur it’s a hot debate here . I’d say the vast majority don’t agree with either. I’d also say the vast majority don’t know a lot about hunting to make that decision . I think in most people’s heads it’sa case of fluffy animals being killed and it doesn’t sit well with them no questions asked .

I’d say the people who agree are in a minority , but they probably understand the countryside more . We are a country ruled by London and most members of British parliament just aren’t used to countryside ways. Some will be but lots aren’t. So they have a major bearing .

fur can be worn but it’s risky in major cities. There was a time years ago when if you were seen wearing fur near harrods they will throw red paint over you . Harrods recently stopped selling fur . Some of the retailers stock it inside but it’s seperate boutiques as such .

I remember being in Selfridges once at jimmy choo and Selfridges aren’t allowed to sell fur but the jimmy choo assistant had some shoes in the back with fur she was happy to sell (not to me )..

I’d imagine real fur might be best for the environment compared to plastic fur.

I’ve given thought to why they would sell the big house they used to own. Does anyone know the year it sold (wasn’t it 2018?) and also the year Leo got with mark?

I wouldn’t be surprised if mummy smee firstly had a shock at the running costs of such a place, o have a friend with similar place and they have 3 gardeners a chef who lives in a housekeeper who lives in 2 x chauffeurs a handyman for repairs who is also full time and a cleaner who works under the housekeeper. Have to remember they aren’t old money the mum is a football wag , most footballers aren’t educated and a lot end up bankrupt because they can’t manage money. Daddy smee seems very capable of money management but still a large house and the running of is a whole new ball game!.

I also suspect parents realised mark isn’t going to make a lot of himself by himself as well wanted to keep darling daughter close (who can blame them for that). It wouldn’t of been fair to the brothers to gift the big house to Leo and leave the brothers with less nor would it of been feasible for all children plus families to reside in the big house either .

so I sense they decided for the above reasons to buy the place they are now in which is much less grand and really not that big . As well mummy and daddy smee might be eyeing up retirement in Mallorca or at least splitting the year so it’s 50:50 . Selling the big house has freed up spends for Mallorca which is a home all the family can enjoy year round as a holiday home it never needs to be split inheritance wise between the kids .

I found a recording of her which is a few years old yesterday and played it and she sounded fairly similar in it, probably not as pronounced and exaggerated though .

Did she do the thing with her mouth? I’ve only seen a few episodes but her brother doesn’t speak like that. You hear the accent but it isn’t over the top. She reminds me of a home shopping network presenter who has had elocution lessons

If you look way back in her stories there is 3 videos of her singing in the pool house . She’s fairly good, heard a couple of duff notes , her higher range is definitely better than her lower range . She chose the echo-ie (if that’s a word ) pool room …

From what I’ve gathered aside from family she has commenting (see attachment ) , I suspect she’s buying likes for her posts. I’ve already uncovered what I think is YouTube follower purchases which I posted recently here . She seems to received a big bulk of likes but then it calms down to barely much more.

Mark doesn’t comment much on Leo’s posts. I still wonder how supportive he is of her online activities.

I had to giggle at mummy smee insisting on using her lipstick and mentioning the rodial lip balm when it was as I suspect an ad for Charlotte tilbury

Fingers crossed Leo gives us a tour of her mum's closet. She looks like she would have a fab closet bags and shoes-wise. I would love to have a look at mummy's fine jewellery collection but security-wise, not a good idea ... so a closet tour it will be.

lol especially when really you don't work as such.... she has Anna the PA, Klaudia the Photogragher so all she needs to do is turn up get dressed and oversee some emails

I didn't mind the mum portion of the vlog as, having lost my mum last year, I miss those conversations with my mum. Even at her age of 80, my mum was still interested in make up, fashion and eating out. But I don't think Leo will make it a regular feature. Hopefully she will plan her vlogs to not be repetitive. I would like to see more of her version of a London outing - her favourite restaurants / coffee shops / niche jewellery stores etc.
I will say though, good for her for not vlogging haul after haul after haul.

I think they are people who go to the same places and don't venture far out of their comfort zone of what they know they like. Wasn't the French horn the place daddy took Leo as a little girl, I think it was. So im not sure there is a huge variety for Leo to film.

The Cornbury event they are going back to isnt all that , 3* is the highest event they hold there its not prestigious and from the hospitality marquee they will only be able to see the showjumping, not the cross country or dressage . Tickets are 5k plus vat for a table so the owners are being incredibly ambitious with what they think people might spend.

In a wedding video her dad says mark was instrumental in her win at Grand Prix showjumping - does anyone know what part mark played?.

He’s got a Glaswegian accent so I don’t think he’s been to a “posh” school , maybe he was a rider himself on the circuit ?.

It’s clear the best horse possible was purchased for Leo to do well on - which is very much a thing in jumping or dressage, the people with the biggest wallets get the best results . Showjumping being more dangerous than dressage in my opinion however .

I wonder where Leo would be without the help of the parents. Showjumping isn’t a proper job - even Kate Middleton just about had a “proper job”. Persuing horse competition is a hobby for the wealthy not a job. It’s not as if she trained everything from scratch and made a living selling horses she has backed and produced herself . Other people do her hard work in every aspect of her life.

I’ve just viewed scarlet Martin (a pony rider who I find to be irritating!). She’s not a good rider imo. Anyway Leo is squealing in the background throughout . Leo goes on to make a very odd comment , talking down to her viewers and scarlets . She said that her viewers wouldn’t think the meat came from the estate they are visiting (Cornbury). Why wouldn’t they ? . I found it very disparaging and derogatory.

so smith equestrian ltd has recent accounts with turnover of just 45k pa . Facebook is out of date (2012 posts) his business was given a 1 star review from someone. It appears to be livery and horse training. I don't think he's from money judging by what I can see

Leo’s engagement ring is also very modest for a smart girl like her . Another sign it’s him who’s very much punching. I thought the reason to go for an older man was because they are more set up in life .
